Great views of the city, not as crowded or busy as other "miradouros" around town. Plus its location is very favorable.

The views of the city from this miradouro are absolutely beautiful, and there is even a little garden/park area where you can have a seat and admire the beautiful city..

With lovely gardens, gorgeous views, a café for refreshments, benches and cooling breezes, its a great place to relax and people watch, you can also buy a sandwich nearby and eat it there.

From this place, we can see an important part of Lisbon, and even the castle. And you are very near the "drinks quarter" of Lisbon.

Lisbon is a city of hills & dales. This is a little square on top of a hill offering a balcony over the city. In fact, there are two sides. A shaded square with fountains and benches to sit and a few steps below another open garden with another balcony. This is one of the best view you can get of the city and the castle standing on another hill in front. It is also a place to rest for a while cooling off in the shade while admiring the view or taking the time to read. There are two side cafés to refresh as well on each terrace. The incline (or funicular) is nearby. So a good way to get there is to go up with this typical means of transport and then decide to walk the street stairs downhill.
