Centrally located on a pedestrian street with many restaurants and easy walk to metro and many sights. Helpful desk, good breakfast. Room and bathroom quite small. If you have a street- facing room, it can be quite noisy, particularly on the weekend. Clean, well run. Very well priced.

Room Tip: Choose room not facing street

Perfect spot in Lisbon. Great location very central in a pedestrian street. Staff were very helpful. Great value for money. Rooms are a good size. Breakfast was nice with a large choice. Will definitely stay here in future.

Room Tip: better to stay at the back but I didn't find it particularly noisy but others did.

I chose this hotel after reading previous reviews and its location is superb . Really close to rossio and transport links . Lots of restaurants at your door (with steet entertainment as you eat) loved the atmosphere. Hotel staff courteous and friendly. First visit to portugal and to lisbon and great to stay in an authentic portugese hotel . Loved the tiles around the hotel. Had everything we needed. Would stay here again definitely.

Room Tip: We were allocated a room on 6th floor. To the side of hotel . Fab view over lisbon. There must be...

Very central location, a lot of restaurants nearby . Metro, train stations nearby too. A lot of attractions nearby too. Rossio Square, San Justa Lift, St.Jorge Castle etc. If you stay at this hotel book the Fado night that they have on a Wednesday. Food is excellent too. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Roons from 3rd floor onwards so that you don't hear noises because the street is full of restaur...

Residencial Florescente is located close to the city center on a pedestrian street filled with wonderful restaurants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The halls and rooms are on the small side, but charmingly decorated. We spent two nights there, one at the start of our 3-week trek on the Camino Portuguese and one at the end. At the end of the 3 weeks, we felt like we were coming home. Great place to stay!

Most important advantage is certainly the location. Staff is very helpful and English is not a problem. Cosy lobby with internet and good breakfast in lovely environment. Our room was small and modestly furnished (one chair for two, no shelves at all etc), quiet, smelled a bit. We stayed in our room only for sleeping because the marvelous Lisbon was all within reach of your hand.
Hotel is situated on a restaurant street but most of them are not a good choice. They are oriented to tourists who mostly are one-time visitors, so their main concern is to get your in and food gives your only calories not memories. But close to the hotel we found two exceptions. If you walk a bit towards Rossio then to the left their is Casa do Alentejo. The interior of the house is nice and worth to visit, on the third floor there is a restaurant with good food and service. And if you walk towards Rossio and turn to the right at the Adidas shop then you will soon find a place called A Provinciana. It is a family restaurant, most visitors are the Portuguese, good simple food (my goat meat stewed in red wine was brilliant), attractive prices. But definitely the cheapness should not be the first and only reason to visit this place.
