“The best stadium in Portugal”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

José Alvalade is not the bigger, perhaps not the most beautiful, but definitely the best stadium in Portugal. It has 4 towers in each corner which reminds the old Portuguese caravels from the Discoveries period. Outside is completely lined to tile with small lions (the symbol of the club) and has, also, an impressive tower with the symbol of Sporting. There is a commercial area with new restaurants and a big supermarket, the Fan Lab where you can find the official licensed products, and one of the two museums of Sporting (the other one is placed in Leiria). Inside you can find an incredible atmosphere with three different support' groups. One of these, Juventude Leonina, is the oldest Portuguese supporting group. If you like football and are considering to visit Lisbon, you shouldn't miss it. It's one of the best European stadiums.

“Another beautiful stadium in Lisbon”
Reviewed 31 March 2014

Saw this stadium from outside and took picture, went when sporting were about to play a match against Braga so the atmosphere was amazing with the fans getting ready for the game.
had an opportunity to take pics but did not go inside the museum or club shop.
