The hotel is situated very far from the city center. One is constantly bothered by noise from planes starting or landing in the nearby airport.
The layout of the room is hopeless! The bathroom is separted from the room by a large pane of frosted glass, which means, that the whole room is flooded in light, if the bathroom light is switched on. Very inconvenient for your partner, if you have to go to the toilet during the night!
There is very clear signs, that this wall is not waterthight (see Picture)
There are no bedlamps, only two large wallmounted lamps, which can not be operated individually.
The room has a minibar/refrigerator; but it is not activated and useless.
The restaurant is very small and could not meet the demand from our Group. For breakfast the line to the single coffeemachine took 15 minutes! The bar in the lobby is announced to be open from late afternoon to late evening daily, but was closed, when we needed it.

Perfect 7 night stay, staff very helpful! Room ok and cleaned everyday. My only critisism is that the bed is hard, well that's a personal issue for me. Pool very good and clean, overall facilities are ok for the price. Just remember to your Ethernet cable for the internet in the room. Thanks to all the staff at the VR.

As a frequent visitor to Lisbon, I was amazed that this hotel was three times cheaper than my previous visits. The staff are more than helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. It is in a very quiet location but there are taxis outside and the cost to the Chiado, Baixa, Bairro Alto, Airport or Train Station is approx. ten euros including tip. Excellent value all round.

I spent four nights on a business trip in this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom too. In the room there is internet for free, though you may need a cable to plug in. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite mediocre or even poor, the cold cuts were not very promising and vegetables except grilled tomatoes were completely missing. The hotel has a very small swimming pool deep underground and it looked as if no one has used it for weeks. The neighbourhood is rather ugly and it takes 20-30 minutes to get to the centre of the city.

Room Tip: Some rooms have windows just above the entrance of the hotel, which may be busy even at night. The A...

Booked this hotel based on its price, which I maintain is still very good value. But please note nothing of note is within walking distance so taxis or the metro will be used on a daily basis.
Hotel has modern feel about it & the service from reception was good.
The Spa is OK but annoyingly the Sauna & Steam room are only open for 3 hours in the evening.
Rooms are clean & comfortable, bathroom is spacious & well equipped

This hotel has nice staff, impeccable room cleanness and is very reasonably priced. But unless you are travelling on a budget you should definitely choose another hotel. The beds aren't comfortable enough (they are however big enough), the restaurant is just average (if not poor, though the service was good, it's the food that was disappointing) and the area of Lisbon where this hotel is located is just plain boring.

For the price, I can't really complain but I'll most likely upgrade to a better, nicer hotel next time I'm in Lisbon.

PS: There is no gym at the hotel, even though it said so online. There is a pool, but it was quite dirty.

Lovely hotel and good price/quality. Staff is very nice, rooms are spacious, tidy and clean, got cable TV and internet connection as well. Booked over the internet and was pretty fast. The location is in near the old Lisbon market. It is well located near transport and easy access to the center.

Room Tip: Booking thought the internet is a bit cheaper than calling in to reserve, make sure to check the pri...
