“Good place for a business lunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014 via mobile

It's a large restaurant with a simple, yet pleasant decoration and a generous offering for a lunch buffet. Price is reasonable (around 15€). Not particularly Portuguese (neither food nor decor), yet practical.

Average food. Overpriced. They tried overprice 14.9€ wine to 61€, luckily we noticed that. Beware....

“Relaxed, good standard food with nice people working there and blues music”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 March 2014

Very relaxed, good tasty food (nothing fancy) and nice staff who have a genuine interest in the restaurant. If you want a mixture between Portuguese and other European food this is a good choice. The pizzas we had tonight were tasty and light and traditional Portuguese desert was lovely. Blues music was a added bonus.

“Great food but don't bother”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014 via mobile

Food is great but incredibly long wait, complete absence of service and attention to guests. No communication on dishes whatsoever, as a matter of fact, no sound coming out of waiters at all if you can fond one. Although restaurant was serving only 8 tables the complete disinterest for clients from sobby waiters and patron waa beyond imagination.
Got up 6 times to serve prosecco and water ourselves. Empty dishes '30 min on table. 25 min to get another bottle of water, another 25 min after clearing the table to get main course, still no desert for the kids, astonishement they were having desert from waiter, etc...
Waiters should have asked about ingredients to prepare the beef tartar.
Relaxing background music turns to nightclub, gets turned off, gets turned on, switches to jazz, switches off again...
Patron eats and jingles with muaic instead of attending tables after staff apparently fled.
Thank you, but no thank you. I can understand having a bad day, but not a whole team who's ignoring your presence. A service this bad ruins the appetite

“Superb service and superb food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014

We have the most fantastic waitress, Renata, who was very informative about the various dishes and incredibly friendly. When she had to change to another corner of the restaurant, she came over to our table to double check everything was allright and to say goodbye. i'll definitely be back. And the food was excellent. We had a variety of starters for 4 people and then I had some excellent cod. (Yes, this is Portugal and I love cod.)
