This understated gem of a place is run by a lovely young couple - it's not large or pretentious, the menu is limited, but everything down to the ambiance speaks of casual elegance. And the food - we tried various dishes, from sausage omelette and seafood to grilled fish - was delicious. Flushed down with a lovely alvarinho at 10 euros less for the same bottle at upscale restos nearby, we were very pleased. Excellent value for money.

First night out in Lisbon we've been here for dinner.
Small and cozy, perfect atmosphere, we tried the goat cheese pastry, typical and very tasty. I ordered the tuna fillet with peppers and onions...absolutely to be tried...
My girlfriend ordered the burger with Portuguese sauce (garlic & wine). The quality of the meat is very high and the sauce simply delicious!
Only one thing that can be improved is waiting time. But it takes time to prepare quality dishes...

We normally trust Tripadvisor reviews and it was near our hotel so we decided to give it a go, but it was disappointing. Ok service; barely interesting taste; Less than ok Wine; Ok price
I really think it's an overrated place and I noticed afterwards that most reviews are from one time/restaurant reviewers which might mean something...

We found this place through Tripadvisor and were not dissapointed! The food was very good and out of the ordinary, yet very well affordable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the owner is a great guy. In general we had a good time and we would certainly go here again a next time we visit Lisbon.

As we, most of the time, trust Tripadvisor reviews and because of close location, we attended this place and it's disappointing: the service is English spoken friendly but "best white wine on card" is monolithic and pretty straight-forward, dishes quantity is poor (especially in regards of Portugal standards) and taste was barely interesting. In summary, if you forget the fish fillet fish bones-garnished answered "but well it's part of the fish", it's basic, no-experience tasting and overrated place.
