A group of 15 of us stayed for 4 nights. The hotel staff accommodated our group hospitably. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and I would especially like to thank Marta for organising the majority of our restaurants and bars. Luis and Andre on front desk were extremely welcoming and helpful. We wanted to go shooting on one day, which was again arranged by reception with a minibus transfer. I don't recall the gentleman's name who organised this for us, but he did a brilliant job and we had a great time.
WiFi worked in all the rooms free of charge. Local cafés and restaurants are within walking distance and there is good choice on Rua Santa Marta for lunch. I would recommend the burgers at Honorato.
I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and, giving credit where it is due, I would stay again.

The hotel looked nice and the service was also very friendly. On the downside, the WiFi didn't really work in our room (except the bathroom). That's about it. Even though the location is not bad, I would probably pick a different location if I ever return to Lisbon. Just a little bit closer to the city center.

We spent three nights in Lisbon and stayed at the Exe Lisboa. The hotel itself is pretty nice, with friendly staff and close to the Metro stop. The problem is the hotel is kind of away from the tourist attractions, few places are within walking distance but for the most part you have to take the metro into the city. The hotel is nice and clean, but one would be better off spending the extra cash and staying closer to the tourist area where there is more life. After sunset you really didn't see to many people walking around the hotel or outside, the hotel seems to be more catered towards business travelers than tourists.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor, no special view

I have booked the hotel on the 1st of January which was 3 months from the arrival date, for myself, my mother and my best friend to enjoy my birthday celebration in Lisbon. I have sent a note to the hotel saying that was the occasion asking for the nicest room possible. What we got upon arrival, was the room right opposite the elevator on the first floor. When first asked to move to another room, we were told that nothing is available and all the smoking rooms are on first floor anyway, which proved out not to be the case as we have seen people smoking out of rooms on all the three floors. However, all this was slightly acceptable until we have returned to the hotel on the 2nd day of our stay to find the window in our room wide open by the cleaning staff! Considering the room being almost on the pavement of the street and easily accessible from the road with window open, we were more than lucky that nothing was stolen! When we have finally addressed the issue with the general manager of the hotel, he has apologised and offered to move us to a bigger room on the 3rd floor, however this is all that was done and the whole experience has just upset us through all of our holiday.
P.s. no coffee making facilities in the room
However, a great location very close to the city centre, friendly staff on the reception and great bathroom!

We stayed here early July 2013. Very clean hotel, professional staff. Free luggage storage. Strong Wi-Fi signal, even in the room! Rooms are nice decorated. Will definitely go here again when in Lisbon.

This hotel would score higher if it did meals, it does room service but this is very expensive € 20 for a burger. Its abit out of the way off things, when i asked reception of somewhere to get food yea it was only 5.30 pm but she said i would have to go all the way into the centre which is a 20 min walk and im lazy when im hungry.
Bathroom is great, large bath and good decor. Large bed very comfy.
I wasnt happy with the location i would rather ge closer to things but that it my personal preference.
My room is on the road and traffic quite noisey starts early at 7am and wakes me up but apart from that no other noise.
My curtains dont meet properly in the middle and considering i am right on the road with a footpath outside my window i was worried people could see in.
Breakfast is great, would prefer tea making facilities due to being out of the way of cafes etc.
English channels on tv which is good for late night viewing.
Worth the price i paid £35 per night. Reception staff very friendly

I stayed here with my mother. Initially we were only staying for two nights, and then went to see the surrounding countryside, but we ended up returning to the hotel for the last night before flying home, because of the rooms and the breakfast. All very nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast very wide and varied, lots of fruit and cheeses. Not so much warm breakfast (as a note fro those who want a full English breakfast, all warm), they had bacon and scrambled eggs (only tried the eggs, they were delicious. Staff was very friendly, from the front desk to the barman.

The hotel is about a 25min walk from the actual city centre, but it's a nice walk along a shopping street with an esplanade in the middle. Feels safe to walk even at night. For a quicker way to the centre there are three metro stations close to the hotel, one just around the corner.

Room Tip: We have tried a room on the second and one on the third floor, both very nice. There is a bit of noi...
