This is my third time in this hotel. Very centrally located the hotel is clean, comfortable and offers an ideal base for sightseeing in Lisbon. The staff are very helpful and make a return visit a pleasure. Rooms vary in size and comfort but mine have always been good. There is some traffic noise at the front of hotel but it is in the city centre. We were a party of six and all share this opinion and I for one intend a return visit.

Rooms were very average but clean and for a good price. There's a spot in the lobby where there's free Wifi which helped while traveling abroad but not much else to it. Was a good spot to come back to and rest but no real perks, not that we expected any. Would go again for the price and cleanliness.

We stayed here for two nights in July. The staff was great and always there to help. The breakfast was fresh with lots of options. Rooms were clean but basic and wi fi was down in the lobby only. The hotel is nicely located to be able to explore the city with ease. The only heads up I would give is to bring earplugs....the street noise is terrible all night. There was some kind of construction going on that seemed to start at midnight until the wee hours of the morning. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying a few days and need something decently priced.

We spent 6 nights in this hotel, we had a great time even for the lovely personnel and the great position. You can visit the whole city from a really central position. Nice rooms and good breakfast. Just missing wi fi in rooms but you have it for free in the lobby

If you're looking for a clean hotel with helpful staff, which is also centrally located, then this is a perfectly good choice to make. The staff is very helpful with things related both to the hotel and its amenities and to Lisbon in general (places to visit, restaurants, transportation, etc.). The rooms are clean. The breakfast down in the basement lounge in the morning is very nice, and the staff there are courteous. And the hotel is a few blocks from Rossio, which puts you in walking distance from the Alfama and all its very many charms. The only complaint, which happens in many slightly older hotels, is that the A/C in the room is not particularly effective, which creates a dilemma for you: open the window for cool air, but get the noise that might keep you awake, or close the window to keep the noise out, but use the less-than-effective A/C. But Lisbon is a great city in which to face such dilemmas!

The hotel has a good location, in the centre of Lisbon. The reception and hall looked very nice. When we entered our room we were a bit disappointed by the look of it. It looked very basic and dated. The bathtub had dirty scratches and needed to be renovated. They promised a room with a Portuguese look, but the look of our room was just ordinary, not as shown on the pictures on the internet. The bed wasn’t that good: it made a lot of noise and the mattress was quite hard. Using the light switches was confusing, as some didn’t seem to do anything. But the worst thing was the street noise. It was so loud we couldn’t sleep. It was as if we forgot to close the window, that loud! We had a room on the first floor. Luckily my boyfriend had earplugs, so that helped but it’s not a nice way of spending your vacation. There were also good things. The staff is friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day. The breakfast is very good. You have all you need there and the staff making sure there’s plenty for everyone. It was served in a nicely decorated room. They only didn’t have fresh orange juice, that’s a pity.
