The main feature of this hotel is excellent location to the main objectives of the city. Located directly opposite the Parque Metro Station subway station. Upon returning from a walk in the evening, I had the feeling that we return to the hotel by taxi. Was so comfortable to travel by metro you're staying at this hotel. It is located in a neighborhood business & travel, most of the buildings in the neighborhood are hotels or office buildings. Around the hotel there are many small restaurants where you can eat quite well. Opposite the hotel is the Parque Eduardo VII, the largest park in Lisbon. This park buses leave on Tourist Bus routes . Hotel is sitauated on Avenida Antonio Augusto De Aguillar. It's very close to Marques De Pombal Square - where is the most important bus and metro station in the city.
The Reception lobby is verry small. Near the reception is a small bar with 6 tables where you can get free WiFi . You just need to ask for the password. I recommend a glass of Porto wine before going to sleep. The breakfast is good and varied and is served at the 2nd floor. The personnel is quite friendly, they give us a mao and instructions. The view from our room wasn't that great but we came in our room only to sleep. At 20m on the street is a good self service restaurant and a fruit shop where you can eat or buy water. I recommend this hotel for those who come to visit the beauties of the city, not for those looking for luxury.

Three friends taking on Lisbon, and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for.
If you, like us, wish to explore the city and don't feel the need to dwell in your hotel room than Horizonte is a great choice. It offers a decent place to sleep, a convenient bathroom and a breakfast that gets you started for the day. We shared a triple room and the room didn't evoke any claustrophobia at all. There was plenty of room for us and our suitcases, and we got a big supply of towels and soap.

It might not look all that fancy from the outside (or inside), but it's a decent budget hotel!

We visited this hotel on the way back home. The hotel staff was not very friendly. There was a fungus on the walls of our room ((( A/c was really ancient (20-30 years old) and did not work properly. At that the hotel has a good location and there is a plenty of parking space nearby the hotel which is free of charge after 7 or 8 p.m. (do not remember exactly). Please note that there is no luggage room in the hotel. When we asked where could we left our luggage after check-out, the receptionist proposed us to left it right in the corridor not far from reception. Luckily we had a car and decided that it would be safer to keep our bags in the car then unattended in the hotel's corridor. Breakfast was simple. We paid smth like 25 euros per night for this hotel so I could say that it worth the money, but for 50Eur you could find much better places

Hotel Residencial Horizonte is an old hotel, very well situated – Parque Metro Station beeing across the street, on Avenida Antonio Augusto De Aguillar. It’s very close to Marques De Pombal Square – where is an important bus and metro station, and Eduardo VII Park.
The breakfast is good and variate, and the personnel is very friendly.
At the other end of the avenue are a good self service restaurant and a fruit shop.
I warmly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: "Rooms on the back side of the hotel are quieter

We were late in booking a hotel so had to settle for this one. Hotel average, rooms were ok, but you can find better for the same money.
Positive points: metro on the other side of the street, if you come by car you have parkig for 9 euros a day
Negative points: not too friendly staff, no internet in rooms (in a business hotel in the 21st century...), only ONE!! electricity plug in each room...
Overall poor-average experience.

Very good location, just in front of the metro station ( 10 min from the center).
Room was clean, but there was a smell of old..
Breakfast ok : good coffee, tea, milk, salami, cheese, ham, jam, bread, butter, orange juice.
Internet only at the reception, the signal is not so good.

Our stay at this hotel was rather cheap, so I thought we got a good value for money.
Although the rooms are very small, it has a great location (near the metro station, which was very helpful, also close to supermarkets, malls and restaurants). Also, very clean and the breakfast really surprised us, as it surpassed our expectations.
The staff were very nice and we also got our luggage carried to our room (which hadn't happened in other hotels).
The only downside to it was the noise in the morning. Also, I would have decorated differently, to enhance the space.
But all in all, it was an enjoyable stay, and at this price, I would return.
