Great location that is the only good thing. Wifi only in the lobby- breakfast horrible no fruit instant coffee and instant orange juice. The bathroom was an accident waiting to happen. Treacherous shower. Towels were at a premium. Although the rooms were clean extremely small had to live out of the suitcase the week we were there.

Room Tip: Don't stay here unless you are used to hostels....

This hotel is ancient and dirty. I had room 609 which opened to a dilapidated building where men were working. The Tv was sucky..snowy, fuzzy buzzing. I complained many times only to have the hotel employee come up and move the loose cable wires around with a remote control. I'm short but I still couldn't sit font ways on the toilet as it edged next to the tiny shower. The elevator only goes up so I had to keep clan bing up/down 21 flights of stairs to the 6th floor. You had to use the WiFi in the basement lobby. It was chilly at night so I used the spread yet every night upon return the housekeeper kept hiding it on me??? Bizarre!! The breakfast wasn't much of anything. The location sucked if you wanted to be near the city center or the train stations to go out of town. It's residential and desolate. I 100% regret staying here. I would never ever recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Stay at the Residencial Roxi for half the price, better tv reception and excellent location, I exten...

Just come back from 5 night stay, a bit dated but clean with friendly staff and right opposite a metro station (Parque) which made getting around very easy. 6 euros gets you a travel anywhere all day metro/bus/tram ticket and the taxi to the airport this morning was 10 euros. Had a huge balcony on my 8th floor room with great views.

I have now stayed twice at this Hotel now. If you are visiting Lisbon for the first time this Hotel offers the Metro Parque across the road. (I never heard the metro at all). The decor inside the hotel is Art Deco in the hallway especially near the lifts. (It reminded me of an old cinema). Do not let this put you off. The rooms offer high ceilings, with a small balcony to the front. (Some rooms only). Twin comfortable beds, an adequate bathroom which was very clean. The walls are solid and there were no noise problems - unless you deliberately leave your window/door open. This Hotel offers good value for the price you pay. I will be returning again.

Lastly do explore King Edward VII park. There is a small open plan cafe offering nice food and free WIFI if you want it. Nearby is a tropical garden, large pond with various wildlife to see. The park is well maintained and a joy to sit in after a day of touring the city.

The main feature of this hotel is excellent location to the main objectives of the city. Located directly opposite the Parque Metro Station subway station. Upon returning from a walk in the evening, I had the feeling that we return to the hotel by taxi. Was so comfortable to travel by metro you're staying at this hotel. It is located in a neighborhood business & travel, most of the buildings in the neighborhood are hotels or office buildings. Around the hotel there are many small restaurants where you can eat quite well. Opposite the hotel is the Parque Eduardo VII, the largest park in Lisbon. This park buses leave on Tourist Bus routes . Hotel is sitauated on Avenida Antonio Augusto De Aguillar. It's very close to Marques De Pombal Square - where is the most important bus and metro station in the city.
The Reception lobby is verry small. Near the reception is a small bar with 6 tables where you can get free WiFi . You just need to ask for the password. I recommend a glass of Porto wine before going to sleep. The breakfast is good and varied and is served at the 2nd floor. The personnel is quite friendly, they give us a mao and instructions. The view from our room wasn't that great but we came in our room only to sleep. At 20m on the street is a good self service restaurant and a fruit shop where you can eat or buy water. I recommend this hotel for those who come to visit the beauties of the city, not for those looking for luxury.

Three friends taking on Lisbon, and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for.
If you, like us, wish to explore the city and don't feel the need to dwell in your hotel room than Horizonte is a great choice. It offers a decent place to sleep, a convenient bathroom and a breakfast that gets you started for the day. We shared a triple room and the room didn't evoke any claustrophobia at all. There was plenty of room for us and our suitcases, and we got a big supply of towels and soap.

It might not look all that fancy from the outside (or inside), but it's a decent budget hotel!

We visited this hotel on the way back home. The hotel staff was not very friendly. There was a fungus on the walls of our room ((( A/c was really ancient (20-30 years old) and did not work properly. At that the hotel has a good location and there is a plenty of parking space nearby the hotel which is free of charge after 7 or 8 p.m. (do not remember exactly). Please note that there is no luggage room in the hotel. When we asked where could we left our luggage after check-out, the receptionist proposed us to left it right in the corridor not far from reception. Luckily we had a car and decided that it would be safer to keep our bags in the car then unattended in the hotel's corridor. Breakfast was simple. We paid smth like 25 euros per night for this hotel so I could say that it worth the money, but for 50Eur you could find much better places
