We stayed two nights in a business trip to Lisbon.
The place is nicknamed Dubai by the locals because it's resemblance to the famous one...
It is a bit over the top but in a good way.
The decoration in and out of the room , the furniture, the bath and shower .
My colleagues enjoyed very much the SPA and swimming pool which are free (Don't forget a swimming suit)
In the restaurant we had only breakfast which was awesome.
It is a bit far from the historic center but a taxi can take you in 10-15 minutes. On the other hand it is close to the Airport and to a main train station.
The cable car service along the river was in repairs but should be working by now and seems a very nice alternative to head south along the river

This hotel is pretty faultless. It's on an amazing location by the river Tagus. It's in a great neighbourhood. which by the looks of it is has had been totally redeveloped. Close to the airport ( Taxis to and from the airport are pricey because you pay for the luggage as well as yourself). But hardly London prices.
I can't compliment this hotel and it's staff enough. They are all brilliant at their jobs. And kind courteous and friendly. The hotel is quiet, roomy, and has the most amazing rooms. All modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfy, the lighting and cleanliness excellent. It had a well packed mini-bar for those who drink alcohol, but pricey as is usual. The nearby Vasco de Gama shopping mall was more than ample to buy some fruit juices and snacks for the evenings and mornings. There is a nice coffee maker In the room too. It boils hot water too, so don't worry if tea is your thing. But I'd get some milk sent up, as there didn't seem to be any in my room. But In this hotel, just dial 9, and they will pretty much provide whatever you need.
Included in the price is the sauna massage and pool on the 23rd floor. Which I didn't use, but nipped up to check it out. Looked amazing too.
The majority of the people staying at the hotel seemed to be business clients and meetings. But as a regular traveller, that didn't make me feel out of place.
It's a great hotel, I could witter on all day about how lovely it is. But mainly I loved the quiet comfy room, the great staff, the ability to go for walks by the river, the closeness of the Oriente train station and the Vasco de Gama mall. Not to mention the nearby aquarium and stunning views of the bridge.
Well worth the stay.

Room Tip: I smoke, and stayed on the 16th floor. The room did not smell of smoke at all, and I opened the wind...

This outstanding hotel has quite special architecture. It is built to look like a sail boat. There are lots of opportunities to sit outside "on the deck", as the hotel is on the river bank, hence for 70% surrounded by water, with a view on the amazing Vasco da Gama bridge.
Room was unusual as well, no separate bathroom, but the tub (with additional rain shower ) was in the middle of the room, glass wall around it. When entering the room, curtain automatically went up and reveiled a wonderful view on the river.
Reception area and dining area are really neat.
A glass bridge connects the hotel with the congress center on the opposite side.
Extremely kind staff. Congrats to management and entire team!

Sometimes business trips really suck because you've got to pull on your clothes and actually leave your room.
1. Room: Ultra luxury bedding, astonishing maritime views, huge spa bath and waterfall shower. Not least, a very silly hanging basket chair to look at the views (and maybe have fun with a friend).
2. Staff / service: Everyone - and I mean everyone - working in this hotel gives 5-star service. A warm, genuine, welcome. Overheard staff checking in a Russian guest wishing him 'spokoynoy nochi' (good night) - impressive attention to detail.
3. Facilities: Excellent modern conference center connected to hotel; great restaurant.
4. Location: Central and very close to airport (and taxis are cheap)
In sum, this place is a credit to Sana Hotels and to Portugal - whose capital Lisbon deserves many more tourism and business travellers.

Very good hotel, new, fresh, high standards throughout and a fabulous location on the ocean. Here is a summary:

- lobby area: nice space, good furnishing and plenty of space outside to hang out.

- restaurant/bar: very nice restaurant, seating both inside and out on the terrace. Good food and efficient service

- rooms: very modern and cool. Gorgeous views of the ocean, bath tub in the middle of the room. Good technology set up makes it a good room for work and pleasure.

-service: throughout very friendly, nothing is a problem and staff ialways happy to help

- other: hotel has a very good conference facility next door!

- location: on the ocean and about 20 mins from down town lisbon

I can highly recommend this hotel as long as you are ok not to be in the city centre. Also, bring your running shoes and go for a jog along the water front.

Stayed here for 2 nights for a conference at the hotel's convention centre.
This is a good location for a conference - you're not likely to lose any delegates wandering off to explore other local attractions (there aren't any!) but not somewhere I would want to stay as a tourist.

The hotel is convenient for the airport (10 minute drive) and is around 10 mins walk from Moscavide metro station. Otherwise it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It's located right on the river, which can be appealing in the sunshine but gives it a somewhat bleak aspect when the clouds roll over. A cab ride to central Lisbon will take around 20 mins and cost around €12.

Rooms are very large and very comfortable and all have a view of the river.
There is no separate bathroom but it can be curtained off from the main bedroom area.
There is large shower cubicle but the controls for it are placed out of reach on the far wall, so to turn it on you have to stand in the shower, uncertain whether you are about to be scalded or frozen by the water cascading from above.

The electrics are a mystery - there is a large array of switches either side of the bed which work together in unfathomable combinations to control the lights and some (but not all) of the power sockets around the room. So, if you plug your laptop/phone charge into the wrong socket you may wake in the morning to find it flat as the socket you had plugged it in to was also turned off when you turned out the bedside lights!

There is a coffee maker but when I used it, it caused a short circuit which meant I lost all power to the room. The fact that (a) the engineer who came to fix it diagnosed the problem without going near the coffee machine, and (b) this also happened to a fellow guest, suggests this is a frequent problem.

Not providing an iron/ironing board in the room seems a poor decision for a business-oriented hotel. Arriving at 5.45pm and needing an ironed shirt for a 7.00pm meeting, I asked for an iron to be brought to my room. After a half-hour wait, I was finally told that none was available - although the hotel redeemed itelf here by agreeing to collect the shirt from my room and iron it themselves.

WiFi was included in the room rate and worked well.

Didn't eat in the hotel itself but the food provided at the conference centre was generally good (although the coffee was lousy!).

If your a SPA person, then you understand, that the basics should be included, right!!
I've been to many Hotels in Europe & there can be fees for the simplest of things. Now the NEW, CLEAN & BRIGHT, Myriad is the gem of Europe, I left my home where I get bodywork twice a week. 10 weeks out I was less then happy with what I found at 5 star SPA/Hotels!! Then I was told to try "Myriad By Sana Hotels" the staff is impeccable, the services Impeccable, every room, every treatment, this is what all of Europe should be!!

The indoor pool/jacuzzi, sauna & steam are included (and there hot enough & CLEAN). I asked the manager Jose de Fretias (who made eye contact) who was the strongest, he recommend Liliane Ferreira, he was not kidding, she took care of me everyday, first day deep tissue, second treatment scrub, next day hot rocks & everyday was special. I will come back to this Hotel every time I cross the ocean & I will end my trips here as well, Lisbon where every shop, every taxi & every person on the street is kind, helpful & warm!! truly a great experience!!

Room Tip: everything about this place is perfect, start here as the gateway from the USA!!
