We found ourselves at Alfaia Garrafeira on a Monday evening and what a pleasant surprise. We shared a few bottles of wine and some dishes. The stand-out dishes was the Porca Preta and the local cheeses. The Porca Preta was one of the best pork dishes I have ever eaten, very savory and well done with sautéed onions and peppers. The seasoning was carefully done as not to overwhelm the pork meat. The local cheeses with the bread was delightful! The owner was very attentive and ready with some great recommendations for our small group. Definitely a great find in Lisbon!
