This is a very comfortable hotel with a perfect location in the city, it is near the river side but also to the hills. to walk around is a great experience for the quality of shops and also the architecture of old buildings. The interior decoration resemble Gaudi stile, the air conditioned is very quiet and the friendliness of the staff is fantastic. Definitively I will come back.

We booked two nights here after being in up country Alentejo, on the way back to the UK. The hotel has a reputation locally for its ground-breaking design and so the lift call system is set up to exclude voyeuristic visitors - but it's easy to use once you know the trick....

The location is very convenient, accessible being right in the thick of it, close by the Metro, trains and buses, including the bus to the airport, and those historic trams too. Plenty of restaurants nearby

Our room on the first floor was unique with dark hues, a huge fig graphic on the wall and plenty of originality like electric driven blinds and curtains. The bed and linen were comfortable, the rooms clean. The bathroom a little dark but again, original with a tap exiting through a huge mirror - oh, yes, plenty of mirrors all round helping to lighten the dark tones. The large windows opened but were also well double glazed keeping the room cool and largely noise free. A lightly stocked mini-bar was free - nice touch that.

There's a cool 'organic' feel to the cocktail bar offsetting an industrial 'warehouse' feel to the lobby walls with concrete blending subtly into the decor! It's better than it sounds, honest. The restaurant provides beautifully cooked regional food and classy wines served by polite, smiling staff. There is a call button on the table that we didn't use as the waiters were attentive anyway. We did not take breakfast here as it was a little pricey and the hotel is surrounded by beautifully sunny cafe tables on the square for coffee and pastries.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, with excellent service and language, even taking us outside to show the way to the station. Brilliant, thanks.

Two minor things, not sure if the management can do much about them: the lobby smells a little of toilet cleaners, possibly through use of the wrong cleaning products. The bedroom smoke detector was located directly over the bed and flashed reassuringly but a little brightly so it can be seen through closed eyelids! These things didn't spoil our stay, so, in conclusion, it's different, interestingly 'quirky' but it all works well and we would recommended staying here.

Loved this hotel. It was efficient, has a nice spa, comfortable beds and attractive room. Perfect location. Accross the square from the metro stop, so 40 minutes door to door from airport. What a great find.

Room Tip: I did ask for a room off the square and it was very quiet.

Great staff. Rooms small, but comfortable. Perfect location. Would definitely recommend for short breaks or business use. Very close to all central sites and just a short walk from the Castle and shopping areas.

We enjoyed the hotel on a city tour with some friends. The standard rooms are rather small but like the rest of the hotel very nice designed. The hotel is situated at la placa Figuera and with that perfectly suited to undertake tours to the different parts of Lisbon. The hotel crew was very friendly. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Stayed there for 9 days, modern looking on the inside, nice view of the figuiera square, very central which makes it easy to access everything in town, the bed and sheets very comfy, the cleaning women do a great job.

We've stayed three nights in total at this hotel, in two different periods. We had two rooms, and both were excellent. They could be larger, but are very comfortable, with all amenities, super comfy bed, good shower, nice decoration. Internet was free and worked. Location is superb, very central and near most of the touristic places in Lisbon. Service is excellent and they indicated good restaurants for us.
They have a small gym and a good spa, with hot sauna and a good massage. It's not cheap, tough. Breakfast is very good also. If you want to stay in a charming hotel, we highly recommend it!
