The Location can't be beat - walked everywhere - easy connect for tours, trams, transportation in general. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking the busy Square, at first I thought it would be noisy - but it wasn't - loved the automatic shades and black out curtains. The restaurant and bar is super convenient downstairs - I especially liked sitting outdoors to unwind with a cocktail after a long day of walking - would stay again.

The Figuera, on the square by the same name is extremely well located. You can practically walk anywhere from this location (you do need to climb at times but this is Lisbon). Public transportation is also very near by.
The decor is very modern (a bit on the post modern scale) and is dominated by darkish hues which may not be to everyone's taste. Our room was on the small side but the bed was comfortable and the shower (though small) worked well. The people at reception are kind and helpful. The breakfast is particularly a good value.

The hotel is in a wonderful location by two main squares between the old town and uptown. If you like your hotels to be a little on the unusual side, this is the place for you. The lobby is filled with undulating bulbous fig-based furniture/decor. The rooms have heavy-sculpted metal furniture, again with fig-based murals on the walls and ceiling and lots of tinted mirrors.

Pros - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Location hard to beat, as stated above.

Cons for the room - heavy perfume piped in through the AC system and absolutely no place for the toilet paper to be kept. It’s on a ledge 6 ft above the commode...not very handy and the towel hooks are at the same height???

Great location right near the main square and other attractions in Lisbon. Surprisingly quiet at night even with the cable cars out front. Great breakfast option that we were glad we reserved with espresso machine and food selection. Room is small in typical European fashion but was comfortable and would stay here again.

A clean and modern hotel in a central location. The fig decor is unique (will leave it at that) but the room we had was huge and had a small balcony facing the square (pic below). Really enjoyed the extra space after a cramped room at a previous hotel. The location could not be more central, with all forms of transportation within steps of the hotel (metro, trolley, train, bus, taxi). It makes for a busy area but at night it clears out. The staff is helpful and friendly (especially the restaurant staff) and the food is excellent (breakfast buffet and otherwise). Will absolutely book here again when we are in Lisbon. Obrigado!
