On the one hand this hotel is very well situated, given you can walk outside and get a tram straight to Belém, or take a taxi/tuk tuk, or go on the metro. It is also only a few minutes away from shops and restaurants, and quite close to Praça de Comércio. The breakfast is delicious, with the pastries obviously cooked in the morning, and a decent enough variety of food. The hotel restaurant appeared to be nice but we didn’t try it.
This would be enough for a 4/5 star review if you are willing to overlook the decor in the hotel, which is dark and oppressive, making the small bedroom seem even smaller. In our room, the shower spontaneously changed temperature, and the bath felt like a squeeze.
Overall, I would give this hotel 3.5 stars, as it was conveniently located, and the breakfast was good value. The only issue was the bedroom.More
