Stayed here for 2 nights and really didn't want to leave. We don't normally write reviews but because the hotel has been open less than a month we wanted to show our appreciation for what a wonderful time we had. From the moment we stepped through the door the staff were incredibly friendly, particularly Rita who couldn't do enough for us. Fantastic views over Alfama and across the river. The photos on the website don't do the outdoor spaces justice, it was a great place to relax after a hectic day sightseeing in the Lisbon heat. Excellent breakfast which could be eaten wherever you wanted, great buffet choice and lots of coffee. The hotel is minimalist and stylish. Tucked down a cobbled side street taxis sometimes have problems finding/accessing the hotel but this didn't cause us any problem. Great location in the historic Alfama area, very close to the action but at the same time in a quieter part of the city. Very handy for the castle and some great bars and food spots (like wine bar do castelo and pois café). Our room was slightly on the small side but very well designed with a good bathroom and one of the best showers I've come across on my travels. Would definitely go back.
