It is the most popular monument of lisbon. If you have seen photos of Lisbon you have seen it. The monument is very nice at the exterior as you can see the manuelino art. Inside it doeshnt have something to see besides the terrific wiew. It is a nice place to go with your children as they will love to climb in the tower.

This is a beautiful piece of architecture that is worth visiting. We did not line up to go inside as the line was long and we put the rest of our time to visiting other sites in Belem. That being said, just viewing the outside is fairly gob-smackingly wonderful as we sat on the steps for a long time soaking it up.

The tower at sunset is a very romantic setting. it is a very nice place for pictures and just imagine that navigators used to set sail from this tower...
Souvenir shop in this area are a little bit cheaper than in the center of Lisbon.

Very nice building full of history, there is no great need to pay for the visit inside the building.
Tip: Souvenir merchants outside the tower are amongst the cheapest we encountered in Lisbon.

Phenomenal tower with a wonderful view of the ocean and Vasco da Gama Bridge in nice old part of the city where you can also visit a famous bakery Pasteis de Belem...
Ticket is also not so expensive. Tower has a few different levels. It's very old, built for the defense of Lisbon, also used as a prison, but today such a nice attraction!
