This is very good hotel, located in the heart of Lisboa, very easy connection to the airport by aerobus #1 (50 meters from busstop), short distance to the metro (Prque) if you like a mountain walk, very good tasting breakfast, very good rookeeping, rather quiet street, helpfull service (they offered to exchange our breakfast into sandwiches when we had to went from the hotel early morning). One minus is the prices of mini-bar. But of course you don't have to use it (supermarket is very close). I would enjoy to stay there next time.

This is a nice hotel in a great location for the metro but not sure it's a 4 star.
Good points:
Location - very near Picoas metro
Rooms - fairly big, well equipped and very clean
Staff - friendly and efficient
Quit and very little street noise.

Not so good points:
Heating was switched off for the summer (in March) so the room was cold
Towels were thin and a bit worn
Internet was slow but free
Breakfast was a bit limited
The layout of the bathroom was poor as the door wouldn't fully open and it kept hitting the door stop which was annoying

The is really a 3+ star hotel and not a 4 star as claimed and there wasn't anything specifically wrong just not up to a 4 star standard. It was fine for a short city break.

Getting here from the airport was easy and cheap with a 24hour metro card costing 6€ each plus 50cents for the card which can be reloaded.

All in all a nice break at a decent hotel.

The hotel is nice, relatively close to the city centre, clean. The staff was helpful and gave d us all the informations we needed. Like in all the other reviews the breakfast was really poor, no bread at some point, no plates or glasses for water. Forget about the scrambled eggs or sausages.

Stayed here 3 nights with my wife on a city break. The room and bath room were larger than expected, clean with good supply of bath stuff. One strange thing though, there was no literature in the room, guide to hotel services, what's on in Lisbon, tours etc. simply nothing in the room at all? There was information in the reception and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was fair. Lots of fruit and cold meats. Hot selection was limited - scrambled eggs and some less than crisp bacon, a few small frankfurter sausages and no baked beans which was good to see. There was a great selection of pastries and fruit. A special mention goes to the beautiful stewed apple, a real delight.
Having read comments on here about the location I looked it up in advance and used Google maps earth view. It is easy to find if you follow the little man. From the airport get the metro to Picoas station and then it is a 5 - 10 minute walk. On the metro you have to change trains at Salldanha, very easy. The Hotel it self is a short walk from the Marques de Pombal roundabout, which is at the head of the Avenue. This is a really nice area to walk around and a pleasant walk from the City Centre. Don't forget Lisbon is however a city of hills.
If you are on a strict budget there is a Pingo Doce Supermarket 5 minutes walk from the hotel that has a café, take-away and wide range of food and goods. Open late on a Sunday and very busy.
Over all this Hotel was very good, well situated and gave us a great base for a pleasant weekend break.

A 5 minute walk from the Marques de Pombal roundabout and close to the Picoas metro station and approx.. a 2km walk from downtown Rossio.
Clean modern average size rooms including frigobar, modern bathroom with toiletries.
Good breakfast with a wide variety including local sweets.
I have stayed at better 4 star hotels in Lisbon, but if you can get a good rate (like I did) then I would definitely suggest this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room.

We had never been to Lisbon and this hotel was the perfect start. It was centrally located within an easy walk of all the major sites. We went B&B, breakfast was great - great selection and happy hour in the evening was the perfect start to an evening out. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned every day. We were very impressed and will be going back soon.
