An amazing experience from check-in to check-out. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, yet personable staff. Perfect location for exploring the city. Culdn't recommend this small andluxurious place more. A true gem in historic Lisbon.

The Bairro Alto ended up being my favorite section in Lisbon and the hotel is in the heart of it. The service at the hotel is A+. The front desk couldn't have been more accommodating and friendlier. If you are on a romantic vacation and want to be in the liveliest area in Lisbon then stay here.

They have a great staff.
The location of the hotel is very convinient. Next to the hotel is parking.
Hotel has got a agreement with Parking that one day cost 17 euro.
Dishes in the restaurant are very orginal . Very tasty lunch menu cost 20 euro.
Unfortunately one day internet access is expensive and it cost 20 euro as well.

Stayed there for 3 nights and loved the place! Great location. It is close to most of the major attractions and close to many restaurants. The roof top restaurant has great views but tends to get really crowded, especially by non hotel guests.
Staff is excellent. Rooms are beautifully done but are a bit on the small side. Has a very basic gym with just 4 cardio equipments. The only con was that they do not have free wifi. They charge 5 Euro per hour which is a bit too much.
Overall, had a great stay and would recommend it.

Staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice, although a little worn out. The location is good and many sights can be reached by foot. Apparently, some of the rooms can be a little bit noisy at night, since there is a lot of partying going on in the streets surrounding the hotel. Our room was quiet, though. Breakfast was very good.

We spent 2 nights here en route to Madeira. Reception was friendly and efficient, and took instantly volunteered to deal Ground Force in the matter of a missing case, which turned up early next morning. A razor, shaving cream, toothbrush and toothpaste were supplied gratis to tide us over until the case arrived. The hotel was very quiet while we stayed there. We had a room at the top of the building, with only a small dormer style window. However it was a very comfortable room with TV, DVD, safe, etc. The bathroom was very elegant and even had a sound relay and phone! On the roof there is a cafe with a wonderful view over the the city to the Tagus River. The Bairro Alto district is fascinating with steep hills, funicular railways, and the Santa Justa elevator is a must! There are The hotel's restaurant is small; the food there was very good, though at the inevitable 5 star prices. We found a wonderful meal about 2 miutes walk away at Taberna dos Arcos. The much written about Tram No.28 can be picked up more or less outside the hotel; its well worth a ride!

I stayed with my wife and three small kids in a suite which gave as all the space to enjoy the time in the hotel during our three day/ two night Lisbon city sightseeing trip.

The hotel is in the middle of the old town of Lisbon and you can get around easily by the tram 28 which takes you to the best places in Lisbon.

The location of the hotel allows you to enjoy Lisbon without the need for a car. You can get everywhere by tram or by foot.

Not a cheaply priced hotel but best in classe location, very nice rooms and staff.
