Whle the Acores Lisboa is not situated "downtown", it does have a Metro station underneath it - which means you're never more than 10-20 minutes from most places in Lisbon.

The hotel is a modern building. I was very pleased to be able to get into my room as early as 9am after arriving on an early flight. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient and spoke English well. I stayed for 6 nights.

The room was perfect for my needs with a comfortable bed, desk, LCD TV and good views.

The bathroom was very clean and the free toiletries better than usual for hotels. The floor can be a bit slippery when wet.

I only at breakfast at the hotel - there was a good selection and the staff managed well even when it was really busy. The custard tarts (pasteis de nata) are very popular for good reason.

The only thing this hotel is missing is a pool!

I usually expect that hotels provide free wifi/internet - but if they must charge for it, it should be a reasonable amount - well the Acores charges a very modest/reasonable amount - so you don't really mind.

Very impressed with this hotel & looking forward to going back next year. Check in was very prompt & the receptionist very much customer orientated. Had dinner in the restaurant. Food was very good as well as the service. Room on 10th. floor with good view. Only having 1 night our time the next day was limited. The receptionist on duty that morning was very helpful in helping us select a short tour & giving directions. This hotel is right next to the subway which is so easy to use with self-service ticket machines in English. Although within the business district it is certainly worth the short metro ride to the main tourist area of the city.

Location: Within the business district of the city. It is just beside Placa de Espanha metro station and 15 minutes from the Airport.

Facilities: Room 711 is a very spaceous room with nice city view. Well maintained facilities for being a 4 star hotel. Very clean and organized. TV was not working during my last night of stay.

Services: Very friendly and accomodating staff. They carried my luggage to my room and they did the same when I checked out. Breakfast with good selections but limited. The have very good menu for dinner.

Price: I got a very good rate with this hotel. Excellent value for money.

This is one of the best hotel I stayed so far during my European tour.

This is a great hotel to stay at when visiting Lisbon. The staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. We arrived to out hotel at 9am and check in was not until 2pm. The hotel front desk staff got us into rooms before check in time since we were worn out from flying. Great restaraunt and the rooms were so clean and comfy. Will definately stay here agin when we visit.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 6th floor and did not hear any noise except the occasional plane taking off, but it...

We stayed at Acores for three nights in a double room organised by a conference. The room rates were a little overpriced at 66-89 Euros a night.

The hotel staff was nice and helpful, the lifts are quite small, they do play hotel music in the hallways but we could not hear that in our rooms. The Wifi is not free but cheap at 4 Euros for our three nights but one pass is only available for one device. Breakfast was included and quite nice with fruits, cereals, bread, hams, portugese tarts, baked beans, bacon and scrambled eggs. There are no gym or pool facilities and no ironing boards or irons. The room we stayed in had a leaky shower screen. The rooms are clean and well maintained but the aircon is fairly intense. The hotel is close to the Metro which makes getting around easier. Overall it's a nice place but there are probably cheaper hotels in the same league.

On the corner of Placa de Espana, and only 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Metro station, this is a large modern hotel, which offers comfortable 4* lodging at reasonable prices. The Fundacao Calouste Gulbekian is across the other side of the square, a good 10 minute walk.

Rooms are adequate size, with comfortable furnishings. The hotel is under the flight path into the airport, and light sleepers might be disturbed by the morning traffic. A good choice is offered at the breakfast buffet. Internet access is free in the business centre; Wifi in the rooms is charged, but the daily rate for the first two days is very low, and after 3 days it’s free.

Nice lobby, attentive and helpful receptionists, good elevators. Reasonably large carpeted room with wood floors at entrance and in well equipped bath, only negative is the bathtub/shower enclosure with the crazy half-size glass partition guaranteeing a wet floor. Good beds and sleep quality, good size desk for working. Wifi in room costs a few euros but was worth it for us. Great breakfast with good varieties including cooked eggs and bacan and Nata tarts. The hotel entrance is literally steps away from the subway entrance which wisks you into the town center in less than 10 minutes. We got a great discounted price and free parking - definitely worth it.
