The residencial is located 5 minutes from Marques de Pombal metro station, just 3 stops from downtown Lisboa. It's located on the first floor of a building but you can find it easily because there's a big sign outside. The furniture is old but the rooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. Breakfast is simple: tea/coffee, orange juice, bread and spreads but the bread is always fresh and the juice is real orange juice. The owner is very nice and kind and is always there if you need help with a street or a suggestion for a good restaurant. We would definitely go back.

We were very pleased with our stay here. The facilities were clean and tidy and the host was very accomodating and helpful with directions and providing laundry service upon request. There is an elevator to the flat which makes lugging bagage convenient. There is a secured parking lot right across the street so you can leave your car and use public transportatioin for an extended stay. The nearest metro stop is the Marques de Pombal located about a half kilometer away and its a bit of a hike uphill getting back to the flat from there. Just around the corner on the Rua Joaquim Antonio Aguiar is a great retaurant that is frequented by the locals, the Restaurante "Os Alentejanos". We ate there on a 3 occasions and enjoyed our meals thoroughly. The Londrina is a good choice for your stay in Lisbon.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Londrina and we love it. It does not try to be more than it is - a plain and simple residencial, clean and safe, with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. It helps to be able to communicate in a bit of Portuguese or French. They don't even seem to object if your Portuguese is just a version of Spanish! Definitely "our place in Lisbon".

We stayed for 5 nights.
Premises are on whole of 2nd floor, lift always worked, large sign on wall outside, not difficult to find, about 5 mins walk from Marques de Pombal metro, buses available at end of road.
Prompt 24 hour reception, very polite and pleasant service from the male owner, very little English spoken by owner but he is so helpful that it wasn't a problem.
Nice breakfast of buns, roll and bread. Breakfast in pleasant traditional Portuguese room.
Very quiet, could hear air planes during day but this stopped at night.
All rooms are on the same floor, we had room 102, a double or triple room, that was a good size with a wardrobe, flat screen TV and desk. It was clean and tidy, a traditional room rather than a modern room, and was well maintained and undamaged. Lighting could have been brighter. Room was cleaned each day, beds made daily and changed every two days.
The bathroom was large, bright and all towels were changed daily. Even the bathroom glasses and bath mats were changed daily.
The wi-fi was free and signal strength was good.
Excellent value and customer service.
We caught the aerobus for €3.50 and got off at Marques de Pombal, a massive roundabout.
Whilst there we bought €0.50 Viva Viagem transport cards from the metro station and topped them up with €5 or €10, so that we could use them on buses, trams and metro for only €1.15 each journey, which is deducted automatically.
On return we took the Metro red line to airport and used our Viva cards to pay. This involved one change of metro line, but we used lifts and elevators, so it was easy.
Marques de Pombal metro is 2 or 3 stops from downtown Lisbon and the trains are frequent, large and modern.
There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, but most are shut on Sundays.
Most Lisbon museums and galleries are closed on Mondays.

Located a five-minute walk away from the Marques de Pombal metro station, this is a quaint little hotel located on the first floor of a commercial block. The owners generally spoke no English, but were incredibly sweet and hospitable and sign language worked pretty well for us. Breakfast was just brioche/rolls and spreads but was served with a smile, and with plenty of good coffee and juice to go along with it.
Service in general was TOP-NOTCH. A five-star hotel could not have done much better.
A note though: on our first night there, we were allocated a double room which was TINY and coincidentally the only room in the whole hotel which couldn't detect the wifi signal (although we were welcome to walk out to the common living room and use our laptop there). We were moved on our second night to a twin bedroom which was LOADS better and bigger and VERY VERY good.
Would recommend in a heartbeat.

This is a small, cosy and very well located accomodation unit.
I have found it on Portugal Tourism Website and after reviewing their own website, booked it by direct e-mail contact.
The response was very quick.
Although room 102, where we have stayed, has not very nice view (or better to say no view at all, as it looks on backyard surronded by walls) and annoying pidgeons who obviously live there were making noise early in the morning, I have found this accomodation very good valued for the price.
The staff (owners) are very nice and helpful, although speaking very little English.
The room has been taken care of like you are in a five star hotel (towels changed each morning, cleaning done every day, sheets changed every second day), breakfast served was simple but very good (coffee/tea, fresh orange juice, bagles and small units of butter, jam/honey and cheese).
If you want very good, budget accomodation, well positioned (few minutes from Marques de Pombal Metro staton that connects you to Blue and Yellow Metro Lines) and buses, you will be very happy to choose Londrina.
Additionally, the reception is operating 24 hrs which means you are not limited when to come or go.
