The Avenida Liberdade is a lovely property very conveniently located in central Lisbon. It's on the quieter end of a wide main street very close to some excellent shopping (both mid level and upscale stores), restaurants and tourist interests, but just up from the most crowded areas a few blocks to the south. The hotel has a small footprint with a tasteful and pleasing exterior, and with a very comfortable and charming interior. Rooms were adequate sized with plenty of space for luggage without being cramped. We had a nice view of the side street just at the corner of the Avenida Liberdade. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the morning breakfast was quite good. A pitcher of cold water and various tasty treats are set out on the lobby bar to help yourself to throughout the day, which was a nice touch. I thought this was the perfect little hotel with reasonable rates that's ideally situated in the heart of a colorful and fun city. I recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

The first hotel in Europe that offers a washcloth! Large rooms, bidet, shower separate from bath, dual sinks, slippers & robes. Friendly staff. Well situated to sites. One of the best hotels we occupied (we stayed in ten over three weeks).

I really don’t have anything bad to say this was such a great place for are first time in Lisbon when we come back it will be here we’re we will stay. Staff great Handled are special requests lots of info on places to eat just a great bunch.

Room was beautiful we had a corner room with huge doors that opens out on to a view of all the street had to offer below we had room 31. Bathroom was so frickin cute as well.

Breakfast in the morning was good with a fair amount of baked goods fruit eggs & so on. Anyway so so happy we chose this place.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are wonderful and definitely go the extra mile - nothing is too much trouble for any of them. This is not decrying other features of the hotel - location, cleanliness, amenities, free coffee/tea and pastries, plus port or sweet wine it just emphasises how good the staff actually is. Would return in a heartbeat and probably will.

Room tip: Were given room on 4th floor so could not hear traffic noise.

Love the free breakfast with mini egg tarts and afternoon tea with mini egg tarts. Great location. Somewhere nearby, a church rings its bells every hour so not great for sleeping in. Close to shopping and restaurants.
