“Friendly Service”
Reviewed 15 April 2012

We rented two bicycles from Bikeiberia while on holiday in Lisbon and i can't recommend them enough. They truly provide a great, friendly service.

They made sure the seats fit us well and provide us with a bunch of accessories for free (repair kit, carrying basket). They provide us useful information for the trio we had planned (Lisbon-Belem) and were incredibly flexible as to how many hours we should rent the bike for. We were unsure how long the trip would take and they suggested we rented the bikes for the minimum time (4 hours) and if we took longer we could pay the difference when we returned the bikes (it is really unique that the company recommends you take the cheapest option! which just goes to show how amazing they are).

In the end we took about 45 min longer than what we had booked and they did not accept extra payment even though we insisted.

Friendly, honest, reliable and efficient (and a truly remarkable way of seeing the Lisbon costaline). I recommend them 100%.

“Great bikes for a great day!”
Reviewed 13 April 2012

We had a fun and eventful day renting bikes from bikeiberia. The location of the shop is ideal - just yards from the start of an excellent bike path along the Tagus. The equipment was perfect and the staff were very friendly, setting us up with an extra-tall bike and lending us sunscreen. They supplied us up with a map and suggested an itinerary - a ride along the Tagus to Belem, a ferry across the river and a ride to the beaches on the other side.

Unfortunately, we missed the ferry by minutes and had to change our plans since it was going to be 2 hours until the next one, and we wouldn´t be able to make it back before the shop closed. So we hopped on a train out to Cascais with the bikes, and rode down the promenade back to Estoril. A fun adventure, even if it wasn´t what we´d had in mind.

We were comfortable switching gears and pulling a Plan B out of our back pocket, but would have preferred that the bikeiberia team knew the ferry schedule a little better (there are only three departures that work with the route they suggested).

All in all, we had a great time and will use bikeiberia again the next time we are in Lisbon!

“Our 2nd tour with Bikeiberia leaves us dreaming of a 3rd”
Reviewed 1 April 2012

Cycle touring is a great way to satisfy those nomadic urges and there can't be many better places to do it than Portugal. Bikeiberia, freindly and enthusiastic, were the perfect support. Bikes and accessories waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived and all requests catered for. Bikes were in top condition and gave us no problems.

“The Perfect Bike Rental Shop”
Reviewed 19 March 2012

When I travel to a foreign city and I want to get out and bike, I look for a shop with good equipment, knowledge of local routes and countryside, alternative ways to accomplish my goals....and....most importantly, engaged, friendly, accommodating staff. BikeIberia has all of these qualities. They care about their equipment. They care about your contentment. They are passionate about the advice they provide.
They are a few blocks away from the Southern end of the Green Line. But, get very specific directions or else you will find yourself walking up and down the waterfront.

“Great service, and perfect way to explore!”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

This place was fantastic. It took us a little while to find, but the service was superb once we did. My sister and I wanted to cycle in the countryside, and they helped us put a great route together on the spot. We took a train, with the bikes, to Sintra, cycled to Pena Palace, down to the coast, and back to Lisbon. They gave great advice, and very kindly waited for us when we got back 20minutes after they were supposed to close. The bikes and equipment were all up for the challenge too.
