Really nice and cozy hotel, great value and quite close to the city center. We had a bathroom with jacuzzi.... Cleanliness in the rooms could be questioned with plenty of hair found in the bath tube...Overall good experience:)

Just returned from America Diamond's Hotel. Arrived early but our room not ready but they did look after our cases in a secure room for us whilst we went sightseeing. Hotel doesn't look much from the outside but rooms very clean and quite modern with wooden floors. Didn't like the bedding much, blanket slightly course but bed comfortable. The water in our room on first night was luke warm but after going down to reception someone came up straight away with me to try to sort out the problem. After running it for about half an hour it did start to get slightly warmer just enough for a very quick shower but the manager said he would get the thermostat put higher for us, which he did as the shower was much much hotter in the morning. Also on last night hairdryer broke but they very quickly brought a spare one to the room and made safe the wall one as a wire had broken.Thick white towels changed daily. Breakfast good, orange juice, coffee, cereals, fruit, breads, cooked breakfast, pastries, ham and cheese. Staff very efficient in clearing away and resetting tables and very friendly.Hotel does not do evening meals but plenty of restaurants a short metro ride away where you can eat lovely fresh fish dishes at very good prices. When you arrive at the airport it is well worth investing in a Lisboa card. Cost us 40E each for 72 hours which covered all rail, bus, metro and tram links, even to and from the airport as well as free entry to many of the sights in Lisbon, like to Monastry and Belem Tower. We even went to the seaside at Cascais and to Sintra which is beautiful. Metro station just outside the hotel door which takes you anywhere and so very easy to use. Overall a fantastic short break but could have done with another couple of days to see a little more of Lisbon.

Stayed here feb 2013, the hotel is right beside a metro stop... So handy. We caught the metro from the Airport, changed lines once and arrived right outside the front door in about 20 minutes! Lisbon should win some sort of award for transport, it's unbeatable. The hotel is clean and modern, spacious enough rooms and lovely marble bathroom with a good bath and shower. We had a small balcony also. Breakfast is until 10.30 in the morning and was fresh and topped up accordingly. The only thing I'd have to say was the bed wasn't very comfortable, seemed to have a dip in the middle and when my partner and I were in bed we seemed to roll together! Had a bit of a sore back from it to be honest but in saying that it wasn't so bad that I wanted to change rooms, which I'm sure wouldn't have been a problem. The staff were friendly and informative, the Portuguese are such lovely people full stop! Honestly never came across one bad tempered, bad mannered person in my 4 days there. There's so much to see and do in Lisbon, I'd definitely go back. You'd need a week to fully take in everything. The place is beautiful, I loved it.

This hotel is well located, clean and has a friendly staff. Rooms are small but it is still possible to open your suitcase. Breakfast room is light and beautiful. Breakfast is good.
Plumbing needs to be checked and sometimes there is not enough hot water. Internet is free and works well most of the day.

The hotel is very good for its price range. The staff was very friendly and helpful all the time. Breakfast isn't marvelous but sufficiently good. The hotel is very conveniently located right next to a metro station; walking to the city centre is also a nice possibility. Rooms are nice and clean. Very importantly (at least for me) there are power outlets by the bedside (I use a CPAP machine so I cannot sleep if there is no way to plug it in every single night).
