Living in Lisbon, I have visited the Berardo collection quiet often; it was free. Now you have to pay (5€ and teenagers 2,5€) and I don't have a problem with...if you get your value for money...this was not the case. The credit card machine didn't work when buying the tickets, the extra exhibition was closed, some titles by the paintings were missing, not all the lights were working. If one thinks that it is one of the museums with the highest attendance and paying, you would expect more conditions to experience this fantastic collection.

Great pieces of art arranged by timeline and popart by country. The entrance now is 5euros. Not free anymore, but it worth it.

Some great works of art, arranged in a sort of timeline covering all the great periods of modern art development (surealism, pop etc) each area with a little information displayed to explain the periods. Art Gallery's always a good sanctuary from the outside heat in there temp controlled environments. Spent a pleasant hour here, nice courtyard cafe, plus close to all the other Belem sights so you can cover a lot in an afternoon ...don't miss the Pastis de Belem tarts down the road!

Very nice and vast modern art collection. Shows plenty of famous modern artists from all over the world. It is open to 7pm which was a nice surprise.
