It was a pleasant sray. Location is great and it was tidy enough to make my mum who is very fussy about cleaness satisfied. Only deawback was its washing machine which didnt provide enough water to ‘wash’ our clothes. All in all very satisfied!!
Clean, bright, quiet and comfortable the apartment is just as pleasant as it looks in the photos. We stayed for a week. In a mainly residential area it is good base for exploring Lisbon about a 20 minute walk from the downtown waterfront. It has everything needed for an enjoyable stay including a washing machine, a nearby food store, and a good selection of TV channels. Clive who we booked with and Susana who met us were most welcoming and a good source of information. As well there are lots of tourist booklets and brochures in the apartment. It is up a flight of stairs and located on a hilly street so you should enjoy walking.
A stylish and well equipped apartment in a charming area of Lisbon with good transport links. The apartment is well cared for and has personal touches that make it feel like a home.
The apartment has been very sensitively renovated with the retention of original features adding hugely to the character and giving a sense of Lisbon's history.
The location is very convenient for trips into Lisbon by tram or metro and out to Sintra, with nice restaurants within a short walk. We found parking on the other side of Santos train station a very convenient place to leave our hire car.
Clive and Linda were also wonderful, very understanding and forgiving. We arrived late to the apartment and they stayed to let us in and made us feel very welcome despite the inconvenience this caused to the rest of their day.
The apartment had been modernised very sympathetically, It had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Suzanna who greeted us with keys gave us lots of helpful information and there were lots of leaflets and information left by other visitors and Clive and Linda. Did a yacht trip at sunset (booked before we left the UK - highly recommended. Would definitely stay in this apartment if we visit Lisbon again
The location in an old part of Lisbon is quite atmospheric. The steep cobbled streets keep you fit and there are some really good small local restaurants. Also a handy small supermarket and about a 20 minute walk from the Mercado da Ribeiro - not only a good food market but also a food court with an excellent variety of restaurants.
Bus, tram and train transport are close and inexpensive - as are taxis.
This is a beautifully restored and decorated apartment in a quiet residential area of Lisbon. You can easily walk to waterfront or other areas of Lisbon including downtown. Public transit is also convenient if you are not ready for the steep hills of Lisbon. We were late in arriving at the apartment but the property manager was wonderful and waited for us. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family.
