Very big Palace with a lot of Art. This place is a must during your visit to Portugal. Excellent roads
from Lisbon to Mafra. The palace started as a Monastery and developed into a large Palace. Very
interesting to see furniture and art work, well preserved. A lot of work invested in this Palace. I
reccomend a 3-4 hour visit. I am amazed that I never heard before of this great place that can
stand up there with the best in the world.
