My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant in Sintra on the way down from the castle and were immediately welcomed by an amazing view and hospitable people for lunch. We ordered the salmon, which was fresh that day, and the bacalhao. He said it was the best salmon he's ever had -- and he's from the beach! The flavors were great, and the 6€ bottle of wine did not disappoint. Our waiter, Victor, was very friendly and outgoing (and spoke five languages)! At the end of our meal, we paid and my boyfriend asked where we could buy cigarettes, and the host immediately offered us two of his own. Then Victor insisted upon taking a picture of us with the picturesque backdrop. Finally, Victor introduced us to the kitchen staff who made our meals and we were welcomed with smiles and handshakes from all of them. All in all, a very relaxing, delicious experience with some of the most friendly people I've met!
