Historic property that has a very unique feel. Our room had french doors leading out to a balcony overlooking the wooded ravine. The service was impeccible and the breakfast delicious. We were three couples with three rooms and everyone raved about our choice.
The location is very convenient- it's just a very, very short walk to the bus stop to take catch the tourist bus up to Pena Palace and the Castle of the Moors. Or walk past the bus stop a short distance to the Quinta da Regaleria. Walk down and in five minutes you are in the heart of Sintra with it's meandering streets and the Sintra Palace. Great restaurants nearby.
Rooms are a little worn but in a good way. Romantic and lovely. My only reason for not awarding five stars was the price. It is a bit on the pricey side.More
