We stayed 1 night in Almaa Sintra Hostel and we really appreciate the style an the relaxing amosphere, far from noises and traffic, but at the same time close to Sintra's main attractions (if you have a car)! Only two problems: 1) signs on the main street are not so well remarcables; 2) too many mosquitos at night in the room. However we had a good staying!

The Hostel was named Almáa, which means "The Water" in Arabic, due to the influence of the moors in this region and the fantastic natural spring water that supplies the house, and waters the gardens. "Alma" also means soul in some Latin languages.
