We love custard pastries and tried several establishments in the Lisbon area. This is by far the best. Not to be missed if you visit Sintra. We took back to our hotel a selection for next day.

An absolute must and a delicious treat: stop for coffee and pastries at A Piriquita! Don't miss the classic and deservedly famous Queijadas de Sintra, but honestly there is not a pastry that I would not recommend here! Don't worry, you'll burn off the calories walking the steep streets.
Typical Portuguese coffee house with the most amazing pastries on offer. Some of the best we have tasted.

A mind boggling selection of Portuguese pastries. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are affordable. There are two bakeries in the historic center. The one lower on the hill gets all the bus loads of tourists.
Lovely little cafe in the middle of Sintra offering inexpensive pastry with amazing flavour and great quick service.
