The dining experience here is very good. The food is very good, the view on the terrace is fantastic.
I note that a few reviewers moaned that when it was the dark they could not see the view. Which made me laugh, as if they want to see the view then dine earlier!
All of our food was very good, no complaints, and the service was very excellent also. They even had Gluten Free bread. I am not sure why people complain about the cost of the wine as prices start from €19, which is more than acceptable for a restaurant of this calibre.
Thing is, if you own a restaurant in a fantastic location like this, then you deserve to charge a premium. Cost of €196 was worth it, and if it hadn't been for dining with two teenage boys, we would have sat and enjoyed the view all evening.
My recommendation is, that if you want to eat at probably the best location in Funchal, and don't mind paying for it, then this is the place
