My partner and I had a pleasant experience here and agree with some other reviews on here that it is slightly dearer than most places but you really get what you pay for here.
We both had the fish soup for a starter and it was fabulous. We both then had a filet mignon steak for main and we have never seen a filet portion so large and it was cooked perfectly to how we like it. We also had a generous portion of vegetables.
The service was professional and the decor is traditional and of a theme.
We visited a few restaurants whilst in Madeira and found this to be one of the better ones and believe me there are a lot worse.
