Dined here in the upstairs part of this restaurant although we had not at first realised that it is part of the next door restaurant downstairs using the same kitchen and mostly the same menu. Had the 3 course €15 tourist menu and it was good value and good food. The service was fairly good for most of the meal until people started coming in for drinks only and then we appeared to be either forgotten or ignored. 20 minutes wait for coffee and that was after me going to the bar and asking for it again. We also noticed other diners receiving a complimentary drink when first sat down and the offer of a liqueur when asking for the bill but we were not offered either. We had really enjoyed the meal but these lapses in service then tend to make it unlikely we would return.

This is a restaurant we have visited many times over the years and normally ordered from the tourist menu. However, this time we selected a variety of dishes from the A la carte and weren't disappointed. Excellent quality, taste and choice, the staff were professional and friendly. Fellow customers seemed well pleased and complimented the food and service. As for "Mr Smith" what can you say? Always a welcome and a beaming smile, he really makes you pleased to be back.

We were encouraged by the amazing Mr Smidt to try the O Dragerio whilst browsing for a suitable venue. Tables are dispersed in a garden of orchids - a lovely setting. Food & service was good value for money & our only regret is that we did not make a 2nd visit before leaving for home

Dined here in June 2014 and it was excellent! We were staying next door to the restaurant and had bypassed it for a couple of evenings as the tout outside with his vivid tailcoat jacket was a little disconcerting at first. We eventually scanned the menu and found plenty of choice so decided to give it a try. What a surprise we had! I had the 'steak on a stone', a local dish (probably for tourists) which consists of a very hot slab of granite brought to the table with an enormous slab of fillet beef! The idea is that you cook the steak how you want it, then lift it onto your plate along with the vegetables and potatoes. The staff can help you cook it if you are unsure. The steak was one of the juiciest and tenderest pieces of meat I have ever eaten, and I have eaten quite a few very good meals over the years. My wife chose the lamb chops and they were cooked very well. The service was good and there seemed to be a lot of locals eating there which is always a good sign.
I can recommend this restaurant whatever your tastes

We had lunch here twice.
Very nice menu and great staff...
Nice alternative to other restaurants in the neigbourhood.
