This is firstly a church, nothing like a Sistine chapel to be sure, but with its own beauty and it feels like a holy place. We arrived at 11 and mass was 11.15 so the place was busy. We sat through mass although not Catholic we are Christian. This showed the Cathedral the way it should be. Don't expect an art gallery, go because it's a place of worship, you won't be disappointed.

One over the top Catholic Cathedral is very much like any other. This one was fine and not as OTT as many but offered nothing you haven't already seen loads of times before.

Very nice place to visit just don't expect to be able to lite a candle the VERY IGNORANT woman there when asked if my wife could buy a candle to lite for departed family she just tapped a sign that gave times when you were allowed to buy and lite one so we went back 20 minutes before the time stated waited till the correct time and the woman arrived 5 minutes late to open up she went in grabbed to candles as my wife tried to walk in to the shop she slammed the door in my wife's face and locked the door and walked away.So please visit this place just don't expect to see common Courtesy.

Reading up on the history of this Cathedral made me really appreciate its importance as one of the few building to have survived since the early colonisation of the Island. Unlike most Catholic churches, the Cathedral is modest in its interior adornments creating a more spiritual feel. The exterior architecture is also unusual. Before visiting, it's advisable to check the times of the Services.
