The location of the apartment is fantastic. Moments away from a local bar serving food till late - so great the first night if you arrive later as we did. Pingo Doce supermarket is really close as well. The local Chinese and fish restuarant O Branqueira are definitely worth a visit.
We ate in a few nights and because the apartment is so well equipped we had everything we needed.
We took buses everywhere and the bus stops are walking distance from the apartment.
We were on our honeymoon and arrived in Madeira exhausted and this apartment is just what we needed. I can highly recommend it.

This modern apartment is located on the 5th floor (lifts always work!) with lovely views from the balcony of the swimming pool area and also a well maintained park. It's only very slightly back up the hill from the main tourist/hotel front and the main town of Funchal is within 1/2 hour to 45 minute walk. The number 4 bus stops right around the corner if you don't have the energy to walk back!
The Forum shopping centre is a 5 minute walk. There is also a supermarket in the centre but we preferred to use the local Banamadeira fruit and veg shop 2 minute walk away. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, bars to choose from. It is an area of Funchal we have visited several times and will be returning to in the very near future.
The apartment contains everything you could think of you might need! Modern new appliances and furniture and everything works. Nice clean linen and towels changed weekly. The property management team were also very helpful and accommodating when our flight was delayed by 24 hours.

Having stayed at some good hotels in the past (Pestana Grand ,Porto Mare) we decided to give an apartment a try as we like to do our own thing.i can say it was a good decision for us the apartment is comfortable, with everything you need ,near the shops not to far from the prom where we like to walk.The management team were very helpful in getting us from and to the airport etc.I wouldn't hesitate to use this apartment again the place was clean and bed linen towels etc of a good standard thankyou Robert for the use of

3 reviews Everything was lovely and tidy and clean. We were travelling with our 3 & 1 year old so Robert had arranged a travel cot, fold out bed and highchair etc which was very helpful and we were able to fit all the beds into the room so got to have the separate living space for once the kids had gone to bed. There are shops and restaurants just a short walk from the apartment and it's only a quick bus or taxi ride into Funchal. There is a small playground next to the pool and also a park a short walk away with another playground so the kids were happy. We would definitely book again if we come back to Madeira. We all had a lovely time! Thank you.

Cannot add to what has been said before, if you are visiting Madeira then why cram into a wee hotel room when you can have the luxury of a full and beautiful apartment. Big supermarket at the bottom of the road, full and quality cooking utensils and coffee machine.
Literally the nicest apartment we have ever visited. Keep up this standard please.

2 reviews We have just had a very enjoyable week in Maderia. The apartment was lovely; well equipped (the kitchen was colourful and had everything you could need) The lounge/diner was spacious and bedroom was comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. A lovely well equipped balcony was the icing on the cake. iT was within easy reach of the bus and very good restaurants but yet quiet allowing a relaxaing experience. We would definetly recommend this apartment.
