Visited as part of a private tour. Beautiful privately owned property and definitely worth a visit. Loved Will the White Parrot, he’s allowed to sit on your arm, but be careful he’s a bit partial to bracelets. Don’t forget to say Ola to to the friendly green parrot too, he likes a chatter. The Koi can be hand fed and there of loads of wonderful birds to see.

This tiny piece of Porto Santo is not supported by the major tour groups which is a real shame.
The garden is dotted with various ponds and bird enclosures and is a treat to the eye and soul.
A really relaxing walk round, a Treat to feed the Koi and a nice coffee at very reasonable prices to end.
Warning - only one toilet on site for male and females - Go when you can to avoid a long wait at busy times ( Maybe wy not supported by the tour companies)

We stopped here as part of our bus tour of the island. It is a beautiful little mini zoo/botanical garden hidden away behind a wall. There are friendly parrots and little coloured birds (some in cages, some have escaped!) A little bridge with a stream containing Koi Carp is lovely. It is so peaceful and warm here, we could have stayed for hours! It has a little bar and the payment for drinks goes towards the upkeep of the animals, plus a tip if you feel like it. There is plenty of parking space too. Just perfect.

This little mini zoo / bird aviary is a good place to spend an hour especially with children. It's all run on a small budget, but if you buy something in the small bar there and leave a tip it all goes towards the up keep of the place. They have all sorts there including an emu and a cheeky parrot and cockatiel who if your not careful will chew your all inclusive wrist band off or try to get your watch or ring.

This is a good place to visit with kids, they will love it. There are many different species of birds. There are 2 funny parrots near the bar, they talk and are very friendly and will extend their arm so they can jump on you and climb to your shoulder. Amazing
