Found this place on the TripAdvisor while driving around Porto Santo and without big expectations decided to give it a try. What a surprise it was to see that well-maintained oasis on the sun-burnt Porto Santo. It is hard to imagine how many years and especially efforts it took for the owners to create that beautiful garden. For the abstemious price of 3 €, you can see the parrots and the other birds, even an emu, feed the Koi Carps and the tortoises in the small pond. They also have a small coffee shop where you can relax and play a bit with Will, the white kakadu.
