No photography permitted. Costs 10€ for a 30 minute bilingual guide tour but only 14€ for the tour and the Duoro boat tour. You can also add a bus tour for 21€ total so the cost of the Bolsa tour doesnt seem quite so bad. Their boat tour operator didnt offer any commentary during the 50 minute tour. There probably are better ones. I was amazed at the beautiful, intricate woodwork in many of the rooms. History of the the Bolsa was also interesting. The Arabe room at the end of the tour was a bit of the top for me. Don´t miss the few rooms on the ground floor at the end of the tours displaying such things as silver. Also, there is a wine institute next door which was unfortunately closed the day we were there.

Palacio da Bolsa is really stunning, especially the Arabic room. When the guide opened the door it really took my breath away: what a fairytale-room! The only negative on this experience is the fact that they would'nt let you take pictures while the rooms where rented for parties and other festivities... so I couldn't really think of a good reason why we sould'nt be photographing...

This is the historical building of the chamber of commerce of Porto, and it is an absolute work of art, a must visit!

It's really special place which was build & used as a Chamber of Commerce. Normally it's a half an hour guided visit when you have a chance to "touch" a history of Portugal and see the magnificent examples of decoration! Really beautiful and impressive! And don't pass the Arab hall - it's something special! :)

Very impressive building. Shows you all the background and understanding of the area of the douro valley - The river, the port wine, navigation, administrative structure of the area and so on. highly recommended.
