This hotel was a wonderful choice, great location opposite Metro, beautiful modern room, however lacking electric plugs. I had to remove a lamp to use jug and computer but I can live with that. Great breakfast choice. You cannot go wrong at this hotel.

Our second time in Portiugal, first time to Porto. We loved it so much that on our next trip we hope we can fly directly into Porto from the States.

Trindade is an excellent choice and value. You can't go wrong.

Based on other reviews, we stayed at the Porto Trindade. The staff were freindly and helpful. The location could not have been better. Metro right across the street and a short walk to the pedestrian shopping street - r. de Santa Catarina. If using the Metro, do make sure to use the upstairs park level elevator to get down to the Metro station. A quick jay-walk across the street saves the downhill/uphill walk to the hotel. Of course, all of Porto is downhill/uphill. The breakfast, which was included, was the best. Fresh orange juice, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, rolls, cheese, etc. Room was modern and had all the conveniences. Rooms ending in 04, 05, and 06 face the back and are quiet. We had 705 and were very happy. There is a spacious grocery store just down the street and a decent tapas restaurant next to it for a light meal. We stumbled upon Al Forno Baixa and La Ricotta for great meals.

The title says it all.

We stayed here for 3 days. We had two twin beds stuck together (hate that) but it was a great room otherwise and good value for the price.

The location is excellent, especially coming from the airport; it's a direct metro ride for 2 euros, 15 stops from the airport (less than 1/2 hour) and the hotel is 100 metres from the metro exit (if that).

The only disadvantage is that you walk downhill to get to anything in Porto, so you have to walk back up! But that's Porto, lots of hills so bring good shoes.

The staff is charming and very helpful, they speak excellent French or English.

Great showers, bath, etc, really nothing negative except that our room was facing the train station/metro station and the trains screech as they come and go. Wasn't a problem the first 2 nights since we arrived on Saturday, but Monday morning and evening was noisy.

The breakfast was fantastic, lots of fresh fruit, they'll make you espresso if you ask for it, tons of choices of cereals, breads, cheeses, cooked food, etc.

Would stay there again. It's a clean, modern, hotel. Would ask for a room facing away from the train station though, if you can.

Room Tip: Get a room facing AWAY from the train station

Brand new hotel, small and based on modern style; it's still smelling of new furniture.
I've stayed just fron 1 night, but it was really a good surpise; located at the main subway conjunctions (4 lines out 5) and close to downtown (10 min. walking distance).
Breakfast is fantastic high quality food, great products variety, from salt food to sweet (fresh briosches and pastela de nata), fruits (there was grapes end of march) and many others good food to eat. Coffee, tea, milk, fresh fruit juces like orange, kiwi, pineapple.
Difficult to find in others hotels, such level of breakfast; go there jsut to test it yourself.

Room Tip: Ask for high floor room and quite
