The location of this place is just perfect. You got all must-visits within 10min walk.

The personnel was really friendly and, although you can extend this fact to most portuguese people, it is always a plus.

The room was a two floor apartment really nice and with great views of the cathedral.

If there is something to be improved, Breakfast is good enough although itcould have a wider offer.

We totally recomend this place.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the old town. Easy walking distance for everything we needed to see, shops, restaurants, cafes and the river front. The welcome was excellent, staff were really pleased to see us. Nice to have a wee drink on arrival. The room was very clean and well kitted out. Modern and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen had most things you would need.
The only gripes we had are:
-I really wanted the apartment rooms over two floors as we had 2 children (adults) and we had to share one lounge room
- the internet connection was quite poor. It only worked near the door.
Breakfast was very nice, in a lovely setting. The terrace was superb with a fantastic view over the city, especially at night.

Room Tip: Ask for an apartment facing the gardens.

We have just stayed at this hotel. The apartment we had was on 2 levels with a more than adequate kitchen. The downstairs had a small lounge and sofa bed with upstairs having a large double bed and an on suite . The staff we extremely friendly and helpful in giving advice suited to our needs. The breakfast supplied was a little basic but enough to start the day. The hotel is situated not far from the cathedral and had easy access but be warned Porto is hilly this hotel is not for people who find walking an issue. We are thinking of returning to Porto next year and would certainly use this hotel again.

Great place to stay for a long weekend visit. Central location, great accommodation (apartment units) overlooking the garden. Excellent staff - the ladies are super and very helpful! Breakfast is continental, but have no fear - if you want more, Porto has an abundant of places to quench your hunger. We loved it and I'm certain you'll to.

The staff were warm and friendly, we did not have our luggage when we arrived and they gave up extra bath robes and delivered our luggage to our rooms while we were out. Beautiful loft style rooms, nice breakfast room, lush green courtyard, good amenities and close restaurants.

The facility is not easily found even with GPS since the final leg of the journey is on a narrow and not clearly marked street. However, the challenge of driving here was well worth the experience. Upon arrival, you are eagerly greeted and feted and provided with a map and all the possible information that you might require during your stay. The view from our apartment was grand with the cathedral providing much of the wonderful backdrop. It is centrally located so you can get to most attractions either by foot or taxi. For those looking for exercise, the city is riddled with ups and downs and numerous places to explore.
