It took me some time to find this hotel but boy was I glad I did. I had a room with a balcony in the back of the hotel with a nice view overlooking the river and the red roof tiles. This is a Best Western so accept that going in. It was very comfortable and clean. There are excellent Transit Options right in front of the hotel. Porto is a marvelous city. Go out to the beachfront fishing village.

Good solid standard hotel, small rooms but cheerful, very helpful staff. Parking garage up the block. Short walk to many downtown sites, bars , restaurants. Definitely good value for a place to park and sleep near the action. Not a room to lounge in. We would use it again for the positives. Next to police station.

Chose to stay here after reading reviews but was very disappointed as it was rated quite highly. It needs up dating as rooms are old and didn't seem to be too clean. We were here for only a night, the staff however were lovely. We notice that in Porto tea and coffee making facilities are not available in the room. The breakfast was okay however no restaurant for evening meal but we were directed to a small nice portuguese restaurant which served authentic food which we enjoyed.

Stayed there for five nights, we enjoyed our stay in this old hotel. The room and amenities were correct and the hotel is not far away from downtown. The breakfast was also average without a lot of choice.

The very good point of Hotel Inca is the friendly staff who would be able to help you in a lot of languages.

Depending on the price offer you might find but hotel Inca may be a good solution to stay few days in Porto

Room Tip: The rooms away from the double elevator are quieter.

We spent a night in Porto and took in a dinner and fado performance staying at this hotel.
The Inca is modern and clean. The front desk staff, particularly the woman who's name I cannot recall, was more than friendly and patient. No issues with the room, or amenities. I would readily recommend this hotel. Breakfast was included and it was great. Fresh fruit, bread, cheese and hot entrees as well. Lots of travelers and very friendly vibe. The hotel has a lock room in case you check out, leave your bags and take a walk. Nice service. Everything is in walking distance from this hotel. Inexpensive cafe's, coolest library you will ever find close by, great eats and fresh pastries that absolutely rocked ! Great hotel to explore Porto from. You could go cheap by using the many local hostels or drop big $ on the higher end hotels, but this place is a good value. Parking is extra 12 Euro, but you're off the street and its secure. Right next to a small police station and a church. I would come back to the Hotel Inca, and hope to soon !

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the front of the street. Nice view and relatively quiet.

Don't be misled with the number of the stars related to this hotel! I spent there 2 nights and had a feeling that only from time to time somebody cleans the place - maybe because it is old and obsolete. We arrived in the car, so it was really strange when a policeman knocked to the car's window very soon after I started unloading the boot. He tried to inform that it is not allowed even to stop next to the hotel’s entrance. Then I parked in dedicated hotel’s parking area shared with completely dark gas station and some workshop. The room in the hotel was clean (including bathroom). Bed was also ok. No problem with the internet (it was included in the price), and with the service that was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was not the best (it was very hard to find the way), but on the other hand it is located in walking distance (10 minutes) from main city square. We didn’t take the breakfast, so I cannot say anything about the food there. Conclusion: if you are going to stay there overnight it is ok (good value for the money). A longer stay? Don’t go for it…

Stayed here for 8 days on business and was quite satisfied.
I would say the hotel has probably seen better days but it wasn't in a bad state.
Since I didn't pay for hotel (conference did), I cannot comment on value or price.

The location is excellent - it is close to main metro station Trindade that comes from airport and close to city centre.
Since I ate out all days I cannot comment on restaurant. I did have a sandwich and a beer with other conference guests at one point and remember that it was good and very cheap.

I wouldn't advise hotel to advertise that they have a gym since it was only like 3 treadmills or body-bikes - was really disappointed since I expected weights.

All in all was decent.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view.
