The Inca sits in a small square in the Northern half of Porto. It's around 10mins walk from Trinidad Metro station, from where you can reach all points of the City, including the Airport (takes around 35min). Arriving by train, it's best to take a taxi, athough it costs a bit as many roads are one-way, making it somewhat labourious for the ill-tempered taxi driver!
The hotel itself is small. Very small. You'll see what I mean when you jump into the elevator. But it's kind of cute too, with some 1980's wood decor, all making you feel like your somewhere....different. Rooms are also small, but to be fair the staff give it their best effort to make the place appear tidy and smart. Tea & coffee can be obtained from the reception for free, and there's an internet machine (payable) one floor below reception. Breakfast is fine too, with a reasonable choice to kick start the day.
One thing about the road outside - it's pretty busy. As I've mentioned, a lot of the City is one way, and this one way street obviously provides a good link for traffic.
So it's nothing spectacular, but fairly good value made better by the welcoming staff.
