I love the idea of having a sort of store, exhibition hall and restaurant all in one. I went there 2 times already and must say I really like it. The place is by itself an icon of the city as it was the old Arquive, the selection of pieces of mostly nordic art deco furniture is very special and they have currently an exhibition of plastic artist Olga Noronha. The restaurant works as a small rooms with only 5 to 6 tables which lacks atmosphere. The food is good, modern with hints of Portugal, had the prawns with curry (you hardly see the curry) and also had the Bacalhau which was good.

I was very impressed with the decoration of the house that incorporates the restaurant. The service was also remarkable and we were given a tour of the house while we were waiting for our table. Staff is very well trained and the food was great.

I would go back to arquivo after a nice experience this month.

The building is beautiful and the concept of the space is quite interesting.
It is a restaurant, art gallery and furniture shop, with very nice people working there.

The dinning room is very cosy and home like. It is a good place for a private dinner for two peole or to book for private parties.

The food was good, but not amazing. I found it a bit pricy for what it was and the menu has a very limited number of options.

I would come back to Arquivo and you should also give it a try.

Excelent atmosphere, with a overall service that will exceed your expectations.

Perfect for a romantic dinner, or a discrete business lunch.

You won't be dissapointed!
