What a fantastic hostel, there is absolutely nothing I could fault it for. The staff were lovely and able to answer all of the questions we had from information about the huge student festival that was taking place whilst we were there to the best place to get a vegetarian Francesinha and the best beaches in the area. It was also a delight to arrive on a plane from Germany and find a German member of staff, felt like a home away from home. The rooms were light and spacious and the under bed storage was huge with plenty of space to fit all of our luggage into. Our room had a tiny balcony that looked out over the street which was nice. The hostel also went out of their way to make sure our group was kept together. Bathrooms despite being shared were very clean and there was always one available. Other facilities should also be mentioned, the kitchen is large and has everything you need to comfortably make a meal. The lounge area is fitted out with games and dvds and we spent an evening in watching Jackie Brown which made a nice change from going out every night. Breakfast is included in the price and really has all the essentials you need to make sure you have enough energy to get out and exploring Porto. The hostel is also easy to find, located a few minutes walk from a metro stop. You can easily jump on the metro to reach other parts in the city or walk everywhere. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks for a brilliant trip!
