The famous Italian architect and artist Nicolau Nasoni lived in Portugal for many years and the Tower and Church of São Pedro dos Clérigos (shortly known as "Clérigos"), a project where he worked for over 30 years, is maybe his most remarkable legacy to world and Portuguese architectures. In baroque style, the complex, dating from the 18th Century, is a legend at O Porto and a visit cannot be missed. Be prepared to pay a small fee and climb the steps up to the top of the Tower: the view is rewarding! Enjoy!
