I went for a 3 days citybreak to Porto. The hostel is in one of the best location. Very close to the city centre. Good transport around. The hostel very clean, safe, all staff very nice and helpful and the design awsome and very creative. I really enjoyed this 3 nights there. ;))

The hostel is clean and comfortable. We had a three person room with a balcony & our only complaint is that the bathroom was really tight (as in, couldn't really sit on the toilet without your knees hitting the wall). The kitchen and outdoor area were nice, but it is a bout a 20 minute walk from the most exciting parts of the city & there is no clear public transport near by. The parking is free-which was a huge bonus for us--but the location was mediocre.

Good location near the station, the market, the Rua Santa Catarina for shopping, and the nightlife neighborhood (but far enough to be in a quiet place). As we rented a car to explore the coast of Portugal it was nice to have a car parking. The rooms were okay with Ikea furniture even if the toilet was so-so. The two boys from the front desk were nice and helpful. Nowadays Oporto it's an awesome place for young people (cheap food, cheap nightlife options, little shops around the center and thousand of plans to do.

With 4 my friends we booked a room. Hostel was nice, I liked the colorful furniture especially wooden boxes. But the beds in room were cheap and not so comfortable. Also the bathroom leaves much to be desired...
The wi-fi worked without problems in the room.
When we arrived nobody was at the reception, some guest let us in and explain how everything works.
The location is good - 5-10 minutes walk from Praça da Liberdade - main square in Porto.

Stayed here with 4 friends, so we booked a family room for 5 persons. Without breakfast it costed us only €39 per night for all of us. But we really got price-quality you can say: poor! We should've expected this for the price, but apart from that I still didn't really enjoy my stay here.
The building is in bad condition but they did give it a good try to pimp it up a little bit, which is actually very well done: a lot of Ikea furniture, sheets, decoration and some creative details on the walls. This part I liked!
But for example the service sucks: there was nobody when we arrived and some other guests let us in because the door was locked. There was our key on the desk so we just picked it up and went to the room ourselves. We could have taken another room too if we wanted because all the keys were just there to be taken away!
The room was okay, even though the beds are very low quality. But they are new, also from Ikea, I assume. But the bathroom was so old and cold. After showering the humidity in it did't want to go away and there was some damage because of this water. There was no hot water in the sink, but the shower fortunately did have.
I can conclude that I have mixed feelings about this hostel, which is also quite far walking from the city center.
So, I would not recommend this place. I would choose another hostel in Porto for my next stay here.

Hey Julie
We are really sorry for your bad experience, which is not usual in our Hostel as you can see in our other reviews.
Usually our receptions is open all day, but the day you arrived the receptionist had to leave earlier so he left the keys and a list of the room numbers so that people could get in and go enjoy the city without wasting time. Then, when the night receptionist arrived, you had already left.
About the location, we are 1 minute walking from the main metro station, TRINDADE, which is right in the center of Porto. We are located 15 minutes from all the historical attractions in the city, nightlife, train station, etc. Unfortunately we were not there to explain you the best way to arrive in the most interesting places, like we always do to every guest. Maybe that’s what gave the impression of being more far away.
Anyway we hope you have enjoyed the rest of your experience in our lovely city of Porto, and sincerely wish to meet you in other opportunity.

The stuff was super cool and helpful, location is nice, just a minute walk away from metro and few minutes away to main sights.
It's clean, modern, very reasonable price and cozy!
Would certainly recommend to stay

Its a great hostel just a few minutes away of the city centre. The personel is nice, very helpful, they explain you everything. The kitchen is nice, as well as the bathrooms. There is also the wi-fi. Rooms are nice.

Room Tip: The private room is small but cosy. You have everything you need in the room.
