“Tasty lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

We stopped by for a late weekday lunch and the restaurant was pretty quiet. We were after a Francesinha and saw this place recommended on tripadvisor. The francesinha was nice but I don't have a point of reference to say whether it was amazing. It was very filling though. My sisters had some sandwiches which were quite tasty and very reasonable. I don't think I'll be having a francesinha again but Lado B is not a bad place for a reasonably priced lunch.

“Francesinha”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

It was our first francesinha (and probably the last considering how incredibly unhealthy this dish is) so we can't say whether they serve the best in the world as they claim. We can say however that it was quite tasty. The restaurant seems to be very popular among tourists and locals. Our waiter spoke english. Don't expect a cosy atmosphere. It's more that of a local cafeteria. Bill was less than 20 euros for two with beers. I would recommend this place for those interested in tasting francesinha. Can't say anything about the other dishes as everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having the same thing.

“Go for the francesinha”

Absolutely the best francesinha in Porto, it's even better than the one in the famed restaurant next door which is always crowded with tourists. The fries are great too.

A modern, yet quiet place, serving some of the finest dishes in town. Do not miss their Francesinha nor their crumbles:)

“The best francesinha in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2014

There is the best francesinha in the world, I m sure. And you shouldn't miss the fried potato here too. I bet that their fried potato is really special and delicious too.
Tenho certeza que aqui há a melhor francesinha do mundo e também a melhor batata frita do mundo.
