“Stone Age hi tech”

In Patio is a very cool, very modern B and B in a very old building. It is close to everything in Porto – and the breakfasts, oh my. Each day a different selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, specialty bread or cake - artfully presented and served by owners Olga and Fernando.

Our room had exposed stone walls, king-sized bed with beautiful modern linens, rain shower with lovely bath products and great WiFi connection.

Excellent location. Parking is a short distance away in an underground parking lot below the famous Stock Exchange palace. A quick walk gets you to the Ribeira district and many choices of cafes, bars and restaurants on the lovely Douro River. A funicular ride takes you up to the Magestic Café, Lello Bookstore, cathedrals and towers. Or walk across the bridge to Villa de Gaia for port tasting and a cable car ride if you like.

Room Tip: If climbing stairs is an issue ask for a room on a lower floor. After the hearty breakfast we were h...

A hidden spotless gem in a great location. The owners Olga & Fernando went out of their way to meet our requests. Breakfast was fabulous ....we even had freshly squeezed orange juice.
When my husband asked to sample a bit of their port wine, they not only gave us 2 glasses of it, but also included fine chocolates & almonds. They arranged day tours for us....and were very helpful in pointing out all the highlights of Porto on the map. I would not hesitate to come back here.

This was my first B&B experience and totally will continue to go that route! The hosts (owners) were very helpful and super friendly. The room was very clean and loved the cute architect of it. The breakfast selection filled my belly with joy! Great location - about a hill away from the river. Totally recommend and would return to this guesthouse!!!

A tasteful new guesthouse, high modern but with a traditional feel. Centrally located, but very quiet as it's "hidden" in its own small off-street square. The hosts were superbly helpful, reserving excellent restaurants for us, and even helping out a week later with paying our autoroute toll bill and arranging for us to reimburse them.

Somewhat hard to find but well worth the search! Staff (owners) were excellent for assistance with everything from bags to taxis to local recommendations. Rooms were excellent, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful! Great location (once found) near restaurants, old historic church and local trams.

Room Tip: Small and getting more popular because of the quaintness and quiet location. Probably every room is...

Fantastic location in the heart of the old district and a short walk to the river. What really makes this B&B is the dedication to service by Olga and Fernando, the owners. We couldn't have been more pleased.

This is a superb bed and breakfast in the centre of old Porto. The hosts, Fernando and Olga could not do enough for us and provided us with a marvellous breakfast everyday. The choice was amazing with home made cakes and a different fruit topped yoghurt every day. The rooms were modern and spotless with a rain shower and toiletries, there was also a little minibar in the bedroom which was reasonably priced. We arranged a pick up from the airport which was very convenient. We cannot rate this accommodation highly enough, THE place to stay in Porto!
