this is convenient for the post concert dinner. But for me, the food is very over prepared. Simple classic portuguese food is ruined by trying to turn it into something fancy. the pasteis de bacalau, for example, are cooked with squid ink, giving them a jet black appearence. they lack the light moist quality of a good simple restaurant. On my visit, the waitress made a number of mistakes on our order, and we were charged for things we didn't order. The wine list is ok, but they try just way too hard overall. Food in Porto is not about the fancy restaurant, it is the small family run restaurant that is always the way forward. there are many. And these are the places that need your business.
