“over priced, over fancy”
Reviewed 7 May 2013

this is convenient for the post concert dinner. But for me, the food is very over prepared. Simple classic portuguese food is ruined by trying to turn it into something fancy. the pasteis de bacalau, for example, are cooked with squid ink, giving them a jet black appearence. they lack the light moist quality of a good simple restaurant. On my visit, the waitress made a number of mistakes on our order, and we were charged for things we didn't order. The wine list is ok, but they try just way too hard overall. Food in Porto is not about the fancy restaurant, it is the small family run restaurant that is always the way forward. there are many. And these are the places that need your business.

“Excellent food”
Reviewed 29 April 2013

We booked tickets to a concert and included dinner tickets for not much extra. The restaurant is on the 7th floor - no view or windows, but a lovely outside terrace to have a drink and look out at the view. The restaurant is very modern. Staff speak English, good menu with a 3 course special for concert goers for E17 each - must book/pay when you buy your concert tickets (includes a glass of wine/beer or soft drink and coffee). There is also a gastronomic menu for E22 with an even higher standard of cooking. We enjoyed the food and got chatting to a local who eats there regularly (told us it was the best food in Porto and certainly very good value). The al a carte menu is more expensive - but the set menus are fabulous. It wasn't very busy - we thought it was a hidden gem! Give it a try. Casa da musica metro station is just around the corner from the concert hall.

“Design restaurant”
Reviewed 19 March 2013

Calm place where you can eat without having to scream at your friends hears. Not the cheapest place to eat in Porto but if you do not want to spend a lot you have e menu of the day option.

“Needs improvements in the little details”
Reviewed 4 January 2013 via mobile

The Restaurant is very beautiful, food is good (not excellent) and the service too but the restaurant is missing out on the little details, this kind of restaurants shouldn't have the dishes or the cutlery full of stains from the washing, or clearly needing to be replaced.
