For a (relatively) cheap and cheerful meal you can't go wrong. Our waiter was friendly and informative and his recommendations weren't wide of the mark. However, to go there expecting a 5-star experience, even in the context of the modest aspirations of this eatery, would leave you disappointed. The quality of the cooking and presentation was acceptable but no more (chips rather too soft and the steak served up on a cold plate). But this is not meant to be unduly critical. The five-star ratings might lead you to expect more (they did us) but that is our fault for having unrealistic expectations. It was fine for its class and we enjoyed our meal and certainly didn't leave regretting our choice.
